Wind flow through leaves and trees in the darkness in the middle of the night ,inside a quiet forest. There was grass on the ground ,it was moving because a deer was eating it ,but then the deer stopped eating. It looked around. And Suddenly there was a terrifying loud screaming sound ,the sound sound scared the deer so bad ,it tried to run away but a second after ,it was caught ,and quickly being swollen by something. Something big and terrifying.
Later, In the afternoon of the following day ,sun shrine through a window ,and it reached the eye of someone. He slowly open his eyes and realized he slept in his class ,not only that ,the teachers and everyone in class is looking at him.
"Darren ,why did you sleep in my class? You're already 18 years old. You're not a child anymore. " said the class's teacher ,Ms. Honey.
"Sorry ,Ms. Honey. I didn't mean that," replied Darren.
Ms.Honey spoke, "Ah ,it's okay. I get it ,this is the last class ,everyone wants to go home. Just hold on a little bit ,okay? It's just 5 minutes more."
Darren answered, "Okay ,right. I'm sorry that I slept earlier ,won't happen again."
After class ,Darren went outside. However ,just before Darren was about to walk away ,he felt someone tapped him from the back. He quickly turned around and saw it was Jenna ,a bright beautiful girl from his class. Darren was surprised because he knew there's no reason for her to talk to him at all.
Shortly after that she spoke, "Darren ,so uh. So this evening ,me and my friends ,We're gonna go camping in a forest and sleep there for one night ,wanna come?"
Darren thought for a while as he never got an invitation like this from a girl before ,a second later ,he replied, "Yeah ,sure. I'm free. Which forest are we going?"
Jenna smiled and said, "Great! Hmm ,So you know the forest around 10 kilometers to the west of the school ,right?"
Darren answered, "Yeah ,I do ,I used to go there when I was a child."
Jenna replied, "Great! So you're coming ,right?"
"Of course. Yeah sure. I'll come ,but can I invite my friend ,Jacob?" said Darren.
Janet answered, "Of course ,you can. You can invite anyone you want. It's gonna be fun."
"Okay then ,I will tell him about it and I guess we'll see you there." said Darren
"Cool ,'ll text you for more information later ,see yaa," said Janet.
Darren spoke, "Yeah ,see ya," he smiled as she walked away. After a moment ,he turned around and go back home. He was extremely excited to get an invitation like that from a girl for the first time. After that ,he told Jacob about the invitation and asked if he wanted to come. Jacob agreed.
The evenning came ,the time where they were suppose to meet. Darren is ready ,he dressed up and made his way to the front of the forest ,where he is suppose to meet everyone. By the time he got there ,Jacob and others are already there. However ,Jenna wasn't there yet. Darren greeted everyone and ask, "Where's Jenna?"
"Oh ,she forgot something. Don't worry she can be here any minutes," said Lyra. Just a seconds after she finished her speech ,Jenna showed up.
"Hey ,everyone! I'm sorry for late," said Jenna. Darren turned around and saw Jenna ,Jenna dressed up in a brown jacket and a jeans. She wears a white shoes and a sock. The way she smiled with such beauty face ,she looked absolutely gorgeous. Darren literally can't help but smile.
"Hi ,Jenna." Darren greeted ,Jenna replied, "Hey ,Darren," she continued to speak, "Alright ,so Darren ,Jacob ,Lyra and Stacy. Everyone is here ,let's get inside."
Then everyone walked to the forest ,the forest has tall trees and plants ,it looked exactly like an ordinary forest. However ,there was wind flowing sound and with the darkness of the forest ,it made the forest kinda scary ,but other than the wind sound it was extremely quiet ,no animal or bird sound at all. They thought it was probably normal ,so they didn't care and continued to walk deeper.
"Are there suppose to be any birds or a wild animal around? It seems pretty quiet here." said Jacob.
"I don't know ,maybe we'll find one soon enough. Just keep looking around," said Stacy.
Jacob replied, "Yeah ,right, Okay."
"Does anyone have a sweater? It's colder than I thought," asked Stacy.
"You could borrow mines," said Jenna ,then she handed Stacy her sweater.
They walked deeper into the forest ,and after a while. They found a good spot ,there was a small river cut by and there is enough space. They settled down ,set up their camps ,made a campfire ,and sat down. Not long after ,nightfall.
Again ,there weren't any sound of animal which is quite unusual ,but they still didn't really care about it. At night ,it was really cold. Way colder than the evening ,but with the campfire they made. It's warm.
"Anyone hungry?" said Janet ,she brought a dinner. Shortly after ,everyone ate dinner and settled down ,however ,a second after ,Stacy's stomach started growling ,"You're still hungry?" asked Jacob.
"Uh no. I need to go to bathroom ,anybody carries toilet paper? I completely forgot to think about it." said Stacy.
Jenna replied, "Yeah ,I have it right here. Hold on."
"I'm pretty sure. There is no bathroom in the forest," said Lyra, Stacy laughed and said," That's funny ,you know what I meant."
Jenna handed Stacy her toilet papers ,then Stacy took her flashlight and walked away from the camp to do her thing. The forest was very dark at night ,but she still insisted to go alone, "Should I go with you?" asked Jenna. Stacy replied, "No ,uh. It's okay ,you can stay here."
Around 15 minutes later ,there's no sign of Stacy. At this point ,Jenna started to worry about her ,"Should I go check on Stacy?" said Jenna.
"Oh ,I'm sure she's just relieving herself ,I know she's gonna come back soon enough," said Jacob.
A moment later ,there's still no sign of Stacy. Jenna stood up and said ,"I'm gonna go check on her ,she might be lost in the woods," Darren spoke, "I'll go too ,it could be dangerous."
They followed Stacy to where she went, "I have a bad feeling about this," said Jenna. Darren replied, "Hey ,don't worry ,okay? I am sure she's okay," However ,when they arrived ,they saw something that'll haunt them forever. Stacy's body was lying on the ground ,her head went missing. And her left leg was tear apart. A chunk of flesh on her body was also missing ,and her blood was all over the place. She was killed and eaten by something.
Jenna was shocked by what she saw ,she quickly collapse to the ground ,even Darren was shocked. They both never see something so scary like this before.
Jenna started breathing faster ,she was struggling to move ,she didn't know what to do. And so was Darren. Darren concentrated and walk to Jenna ,"She's dead," whispered Darren.
"How? What would have killed her?" asked Jenna. Darren answered, "It was probably.. I don't know , a bear or something?"
"There is no way a bear can do something like this," said Jenna. Suddenly ,they heard a sound of something moving not too far from where she was. They concentrated ,"We should go," said Darren. Darren quickly pulled Jenna up ,and put his finger on his mouth ,signaling her to be quiet. Jenna breathed a few times ,and tried her best not to make any noise. They quickly ran back to the camp ,they tried their best not to make any loud noise.
When they got back to camp ,Jenna quickly put her finger on her mouth ,signaling everyone to be quiet and not to make any noise. Everyone can see both Darren and Jenna panicking ,they quickly walked to them ,Jenna whispered, "There's something out there and... uh ,Stacy's dead."
Everyone started gasping and freaked out ,not knowing what to do. They were also panicking.
"Shhh ,try to keep quiet. Whatever killed her ,it's out there," said Darren.
"Ahh man, I knew we shouldn't came in here." said Jacob. He was panicking.
"If what you said is true ,and something killed Stacy ,then don't we need to get out of here?" said Lyra.
"How? It's so dark ,wouldn't we get lost even deeper?" said Jacob.
"Well ,we can go back where we came in." said Lyra.
"No ,we can't. That's the same way Stacy went. Whatever killed her ,it's that way," said Jenna.
"So I assume it's a bear or a tiger? You're really sure she's dead ,right?" said Lyra.
Darren answered quietly, "Yeah ,I don't want to say this but Stacy's head ,it went missing and there was her blood all over the places. So yeah ,We're really sure."
"What? Holy shit! What could have done something so horrible like that?" said Jacob.
"We don't know for sure," answered Jenna, "Where should we go then?" asked Jacob.
Jenna answered, "We go to the opposite direction."
Suddenly ,they heard a loud screaming sound came from the direction Stacy was killed. The scream was extremely loud and powerful ,"Oh ,okay. Yeah ,Let's go," said Jacob. after hearing that scream ,he knew for sure that there is something out there. At this point ,everyone knew this wasn't any normal animal.
They quickly ran. After running for a while ,they started to get tired. They stopped and took a deep breath, "We can't keep randomly running like this. We need to find a way out," said Lyra.
"Or somewhere we could stay for the night," said Darren.
"What about in that cave?" asked Lyra. Everyone suddenly realized there was a cave there. It was very dark so they didn't really look around. Jacob noticed there was a cave so he pointed it out.
"Yeah ,that cave would do," said Jenna. The cave was scary and way darker than the forest ,but they do have flashlights and they didn't really have a choice, "Let's get inside," said Darren.
"Oh my God ,is this really a good idea?" said Jacob, he continued speaking,"How do you know staying in the cave would be any safer than staying outside?"
"We don't know but we need to take cover ,and it's the best option we have. Besides staying outside is definitely not safe. Don't worry ,We'll just sleep here for tonight. " answered Jenna, they all brought their flashlights and opened them. As soon as that is done ,they walked into the cave together.
The cave was big and dark. It was like a tunnel, they walked in ,but not long after ,they started to smell something, something unusual, "Wait ,can you guys smell that?" asked Jenna.
Darren sniffed and said, "Yeah," Jacob spoke, "It smelled like dead animals or something," "Or blood?" said Lyra. Suddenly ,Jenna's flashlight landed on something down the tunnel, she quickly walked down to it. It was a gold necklace ,as soon as Jenna saw that she started sobbing, "A necklace? Whose necklace could that be?" asked Darren, "It was Emma's. She is my sister," answered Jenna.
"Your sister's? How could she be here?" asked Darren, Jenna answered, "She was..," she didn't finish what she was saying yet ,but Lyra interjected, "Oh my God ," Lyra's flashlight landed on something in the bottom of the cave. She quickly walked forward down to the tunnel ,and when everyone saw it clearly ,they gasp.
There were many animals corpse and more importantly there were 3 human skulls ,flesh and even blood. Jacob spoke, "Holy fuck ,how could these people die?" "The monster ,this is its lair. We need to get out now," said Jenna.
Suddenly ,they heard a loud screaming sound like they heard before. Only this time ,it was louder, "Oh my God ,we're really gonna die here," said Jacob. Soon after ,they heard footstep approaching ,"Turn off your flashlights," said Janet ,she repeated, "Now,"
