Chapter 1 - death and the meeting of the goddess

As Ethan walked home under the dimly lit streetlights, the only sound being the soft crunch of gravel beneath his feet, he suddenly felt a searing pain in his back. He tried to cry out, but his voice was muffled by the shock and agony.

Ethan's eyes widened as he stumbled forward, his vision blurring. He felt a warm, sticky sensation spreading across his back and down his sides. He tried to reach around to touch the wound, but his arms felt heavy and unresponsive.

As Ethan collapsed onto the cold, hard ground, he saw a figure looming over him. The figure was shrouded in shadows, making it impossible to discern any features. Ethan's mind was filled with questions, but he couldn't find the strength to ask them.

The last thing Ethan saw was the figure's hand, holding a glinting knife, before everything went black...

He woke up in unknown places and right there he met some young woman that he didn't meet before

As Ethan's vision slowly returned, he found himself in an unfamiliar place. He was lying on a soft, plush surface, surrounded by elegant furnishings and strange, glowing orbs. The air was filled with a sweet, floral scent that was both calming and disorienting.

A gentle voice spoke to him, "Welcome, Ethan. You are safe now."

Ethan's gaze fell upon a young woman with piercing emerald eyes and long, curly brown hair. She was dressed in a flowing white gown, and her presence seemed to radiate an otherworldly calm.

"Who...who are you?" Ethan stammered, trying to sit up. A wave of dizziness washed over him, and the woman quickly helped him lie back down.

"My name is Lyra," she replied, smiling softly. "You, Ethan, are a traveler from a world beyond our own. You have been chosen for a great purpose, one that will require courage, strength, and determination."

Ethan's mind reeled as he tried to process Lyra's words. What did she mean by "a world beyond our own"? And what purpose could he possibly have in this strange, new world?

As he looked into Lyra's emerald eyes, Ethan felt a sense of trust wash over him. He knew that he had many questions, but for now, he was willing to listen and learn...

Lyra spoke, "I'm the daughter of nyx and Aether. I'm the goddess of the moon, and my mother nyx is the goddess of the night, and my father is the god of the sky"

As Lyra introduced herself, Ethan's eyes widened in surprise. "The goddess of the moon?" he repeated. "I've never heard of Nyx, Aether, or... your family before."

Lyra's emerald eyes sparkled with amusement. "That's not surprising, Ethan. The gods and goddesses of Tenari are not well-known in the mortal realm. But we've been watching over this world for eons."

Ethan's curiosity was piqued. "What do you mean by 'the mortal realm'?" he asked.

Lyra's smile grew wider. "You'll learn more about that soon enough, Ethan. For now, let's just say that you've been brought here for a reason. My parents, Nyx and Aether, have chosen you for a great purpose."

Ethan's eyes locked onto Lyra's, searching for answers. "What purpose?" he asked, his voice filled with anticipation.

Lyra expression turned serious. "That's for my parents to explain and the others God and goddess, but I am not making you meet them since your reincarnated is a secret"

Ethan's eyes narrowed, intrigued by the secrecy surrounding his reincarnation. "A secret?" he repeated, his voice barely above a whisper.

Lyra nodded, her emerald eyes gleaming with a hint of mischief. "Yes, Ethan. Your reincarnation is not known to the other gods and goddesses. At least, not yet."

Ethan's mind was filled with questions, but before he could ask any of them, Lyra stood up, her movements fluid and ethereal.

"Come, Ethan," she said, offering him her hand. "It's time for you to rest. You have a long journey ahead of you, and my parents will explain everything when the time is right."

Ethan took Lyra's hand, feeling a surge of energy and a sense of trust that he couldn't quite explain. As he stood up, he realized that he was in a beautiful, serene garden, surrounded by towering trees and vibrant flowers.

"Where am I?" he asked Lyra, looking around in wonder.

Lyra smiled, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "You're in the Gardens of Elyria, Ethan. A place of healing, growth, and transformation."

As Lyra led him through the winding paths of the garden, Ethan felt a sense of peace wash over him, as if he had finally found a place where he belonged...

Lyra's explain "you will be conscious in your new mother womb, and you might be able to communicate with her in her dreams and the other pack dreams!" Ethan looked at her confused he didn't know what she meant by pack

Ethan's brow furrowed in confusion. "Pack?" he repeated, looking at Lyra for clarification. "What do you mean by pack?"

Lyra's smile faltered for a moment, as if she had forgotten that Ethan was not familiar with the terminology. "Ah, I apologize for the confusion, Ethan," she said, her voice gentle. "In the world of Tenari, a pack refers to a group of beings who are connected by blood, magic, or circumstance. They are often familial in nature, but not always."

Ethan's eyes widened as he tried to process this new information. "So, you're saying that I'll be able to communicate with my new mother and... others in her pack through dreams?" he asked, trying to clarify.

Lyra nodded, her emerald eyes sparkling with excitement. "Yes, Ethan! As a reincarnated soul, you will possess certain... abilities that will allow you to connect with others in ways that might seem extraordinary to you now."

Ethan's mind reeled as he tried to wrap his head around the concept of packs, dream communication, and reincarnated souls. It was a lot to take in, but he was determined to learn more...

Lyra explains what he is going to be reincarnated as "You'll be reincarnated as a shadowwolf and just you know your new father is an alpha and you will have an older brother"

Ethan spoke in understanding "so I will be reincarnated as a shadowwolf and I can communicate with my new mother in her dreams and my father is an alpha in the pack and I will have an older brother. That sounds nice"

Lyra smiled, seeming to relax now that Ethan had accepted his fate. "Yes, Ethan. You will be reborn as a Shadowwolf, and you will be part of a loving family. Your mother will care for you deeply, and your father will teach you the ways of the pack. And as for your older brother... well, that's a relationship that will take time to develop."

Ethan nodded, feeling a sense of excitement and nervousness about his new life. "I'm ready," he said, looking at Lyra with determination.

Lyra sight. "Before I send you there, I will warn you that your father had eaten a human before when he was an adolescent"

Ethan's eyes widened in shock. "What? My father ate a human?" he repeated, trying to process the information.

Lyra's expression turned serious. "Yes, Ethan. It's true. Your father, the alpha, did eat a human when he was younger. But that was a long time ago, and he has since learned to control his instincts."

Ethan felt a shiver run down his spine. He couldn't imagine what it would be like to have a father who had eaten a human. But at the same time, he tried to understand that his father was a different person back then.

"What happened to the human?" Ethan asked, his curiosity getting the better of him.

Lyra's eyes clouded over, and she hesitated before speaking. "The human was a knight he and his man went into a forest, and the knight ordered to kill any beast and monster in order by the king!" She said angerly

Ethan swallowed hard, trying to process the gravity of the situation. He couldn't help but wonder what other secrets his new family might be hiding.

Lyra takes a deep breath and calms down. "Your father father got killed by the extermination so your new father fine the knight and eat him alive and left nothing but bones and let just say your father stomach was hurt a lot that his clan members let just kept poking and he feel like he was about to explore and the knight body outlined is noticeable from your new father belly"

Ethan felt a wave of nausea wash over him as Lyra described the gruesome scene. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. His father, the alpha, had eaten a knight alive, and the aftermath was just as horrific.

Lyra's expression was calm once again, but Ethan could sense the underlying anger and sadness. "I'm sorry, Ethan," she said softly. "I know this is a lot to take in. But I want you to understand that your father's actions were a result of the trauma and pain he experienced. He was driven by a desire for revenge and justice."

Ethan nodded slowly, trying to process the complexity of his father's actions. He couldn't condone what his father had done, but at the same time, he felt a deep sense of empathy for the pain and suffering his father had endured.

"What happened to my father's family?" Ethan asked, his curiosity getting the better of him.

Lyra's eyes clouded over once again, and she hesitated before speaking. "Your father's family... was exterminated by the king's orders. They were seen as monsters, beasts to be hunted and killed. Your father is one of the survival, and some of his clan members survived but the clan members wound of that day never heal the clan was almost destroyed your father have a hated of human from that day and your new mother was alive at that time"

Ethan's heart went out to his father and the clan members who had suffered so greatly. He couldn't imagine the pain and trauma they had endured. "My mother... was alive during that time?" Ethan repeated, trying to process the information.

Lyra nodded. "Yes, Ethan. Your mother was a member of the clan, and she survived the extermination. She and your father... they have a deep bond, one that was forged in the fire of their shared trauma."

Ethan felt a sense of wonder at the complexity of his family's history. He was beginning to understand that his father's actions, though horrific, were motivated by a desire for justice and revenge.

"What about my brother?" Ethan asked, his curiosity getting the better of him. "What's he like?"

Lyra explain "well he is a more like confident and ambitious, and....you just have to find out and let just he doesn't want a younger siblings"

Ethan raised an eyebrow, intrigued by Lyra's description of his brother. "Confident and ambitious, huh?" he repeated, trying to imagine what his brother would be like.

Lyra nodded, a hint of a smile on her face. "Yes, Ethan. Your brother is a force to be reckoned with. But, as I said, he's not exactly thrilled about having a younger sibling."

Ethan felt a pang of apprehension. He hadn't expected his brother to be welcoming, but he hadn't expected outright hostility either.

"What do you mean?" Ethan asked, trying to clarify. "Is he going to be a problem?"

Lyra rubbed the back of her head and neck "I hope not"

Ethan's eyes narrowed slightly, sensing Lyra's uncertainty. "You're not sure, are you?" he asked, trying to read between the lines.

Lyra's expression turned sheepish, and she looked away, still rubbing the back of her head and neck. "Let's just say that your brother can be... unpredictable," she said, her voice tinged with caution.

Lyra face turns clearfull, "but your mother is sweet, and he doesn't hate humans as much as your father thanks to him"

Ethan's expression softened at the mention of his mother. "Really?" he asked, feeling a sense of hope. "My mother is sweet?"

Lyra nodded, a warm smile spreading across her face. "Yes, Ethan. Your mother is kind and gentle. She's been a calming influence on your father and brother, and I'm sure she'll be a wonderful mother to you."

Ethan felt a sense of relief wash over him. Maybe his new family wouldn't be so bad after all.

Lyra gave Ethan a nervous smile "you'll share a womb with your siblings and shadowwolf pups have difficulty controlling their solid form so if you get out of the camp one gust a wind will blow you away somewhere far and hope it not too far"

Ethan's eyes widened in surprise. "Share a womb with my siblings?" he repeated, trying to wrap his head around the idea.

Lyra nodded. "Yes, Ethan. As a Shadowwolf, you'll be born in a litter with your siblings. It's a unique experience, to say the least."

Ethan's mind was racing with questions, but before he could ask any of them, Lyra dropped another bombshell.

"And, as I said, Shadowwolf pups have a hard time controlling their solid form. You'll be very fragile and vulnerable to the elements. One gust of wind could blow you away, and... well, let's just say it's not ideal."

Ethan felt a shiver run down his spine. He couldn't believe how vulnerable he was going to be. What if he got blown away and couldn't find his way back to the camp?

Lyra, calm sight "and the forest you will live is big somewhere in between The Amazon Rainforest and The Congo Rainforest"

Ethan's eyes widened in awe. "That's massive!" he exclaimed, trying to imagine the sheer scale of the forest.

Lyra nodded calmly. "Yes, it is. The forest is teeming with life, and it can be both beautiful and treacherous. But don't worry, Ethan. Your family will teach you how to navigate it safely."

Ethan felt a sense of excitement mixed with a dash of fear. He had never been one for wilderness adventures, but he was about to be reborn into a world where survival depended on his ability to thrive in the wild.

Lyra spoke happy. "Now remember you can communicate with your mother and the pack members while you are in your mother's womb." Ethan smiles

Ethan's smile grew wider as he thought about being able to communicate with his mother and the pack members before he was even born. "That's amazing!" he exclaimed, feeling a sense of wonder and excitement.

Lyra nodded, her eyes shining with happiness. "Yes, it is! You'll be able to bond with your family and learn so much before you even take your first breath. It's a truly special gift, Ethan."

Lyra spoke in a calm tone "there is an afterlife where beast and monster goes but I don't know who own or control it it seem the older god and goddess knows but the younger god and goddess like me can't ever know I'm like a 1,000 years old!"

Lyra explain about the beast and monster afterlife "there is no judgment and no need to eat or drink all beast and monster afterlife live each other in harmony at least most of the time if they lost there sanity they turn into something that I can't describe to anyone if you die you will be sent to there but at least if they die they can see their family and friends as ghost sometimes in their dreams but the alive beast and monster Don't believe in it and some just think is just rumors or they think it is just a dream or a hallucinations"

Ethan listened intently as Lyra described the afterlife for beasts and monsters. "So, it's a place of harmony, where they can live together without judgment or need for sustenance?" he asked, trying to clarify.

Lyra nodded. "Yes, that's correct. But, as I said, if they lose their sanity, they can transform into something... unspeakable. It's a tragic fate, one that I wouldn't wish on anyone."

Ethan felt a shiver run down his spine at the thought. "And if I die, I'll be sent there?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

Lyra's expression turned somber. "Yes, Ethan. But take comfort in the fact that you'll be able to see your loved ones again, even if it's just as a ghost in their dreams. It's a small consolation, but it's something."

Ethan nodded, trying to process the weight of Lyra's words. He couldn't help but wonder what lay beyond the veil of death, and whether he would ever find peace in the afterlife.

Lyra explain "when you go there just keep your sanity in check and stay calm because you will turn into something that I can't describe to anyone and the afterlife beast and monster will send you down where you will never be seen again remember that to your life and death"

Ethan felt a chill run down his spine as Lyra's words hung in the air. "I'll remember," he promised, trying to commit the warning to memory.

Lyra's expression turned grave. "See that you do, Ethan. Losing one's sanity in the afterlife is a fate worse than death itself. You must stay calm and focused, no matter what horrors or wonders you may encounter."

Ethan nodded solemnly, feeling the weight of Lyra's words settle upon him. He knew that he would have to be strong, both in life and in death, if he was to avoid the terrible fate that Lyra had described.

Lyra continues to speak, "we will keep in contact with one other, but only you can hear me!" Her face turns serious

Ethan's eyes locked onto Lyra's, his mind racing with the implications of her words. "Only I can hear you?" he repeated, trying to clarify.

Lyra's expression remained serious. "Yes, Ethan. Our bond is unique, and only you will be able to hear my voice. It's a privilege and a responsibility, one that I entrust to you alone."

Ethan felt a sense of awe and wonder at the secret bond he shared with Lyra. He knew that he would have to be careful, to listen for Lyra's voice in the silence, and to trust in their connection.

Ethan asked 1 more question before he was going to send it down. "What will be my new name?"

Lyra spoke calmly. "I don't know what will be your first name, but your last name is Blackwood, and you will be born 1,000SGD." Ethan questions."Wait, what is a GD? " Lyra answer "a GD is the name of the year it full name is golden dawn or Glimmering dawn"

Ethan's eyes widened in surprise. "Golden Dawn?" he repeated, trying to wrap his head around the concept.

Ethan's eyes widened in surprise. "Golden Dawn?" he repeated, trying to wrap his head around the concept.

Lyra nodded calmly. "Yes, Ethan. In the world you're about to enter, time is measured in Golden Dawns, or GD for short. It's a unique calendar system, one that's been used by mortals for centuries."

Ethan's mind was racing with questions, but before he could ask any of them, Lyra's expression turned gentle.

"Remember, Ethan, you will be born as a Shadowwolf, and you will carry the name Blackwood with pride. Don't forget our bond, and don't hesitate to reach out to me when you need guidance."

With that, Lyra's image began to fade, and Ethan felt himself being pulled towards the mysterious world of the Shadowwolves.

As Lyra's image disappeared, Ethan felt a strange sensation wash over him, like he was being pulled apart and put back together again. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and let the sensation carry him away. When he opened his eyes again, he found himself in a completely new and unfamiliar environment. He was surrounded by the sights and sounds of a dense forest, and he could feel the warmth of the sun on his skin. Ethan looked down at his hands and saw that they were no longer human. They were now paws, covered in soft, gray fur. He was a Shadowwolf, and his new life was about to begin.
