HUMMAN AFFAIRS HEADQUARTERS
"Mark what is it that I'm hearing about an eclipse from nowhere in some parts of Lagos?".
Kemi Blaq strode into the room with long strides. The taps of her stilletos ringing even in the chaotic hall. Her usually pinched face looked even more pinched with a scowl adorning her face.
A disheveled looking Mark looked up, dreading the sermon he was about to receive from the irritated woman. The news of the eclipse had travelled far, reaching his quarters and he was under pressure from the members of the human affairs from all around the world to do something before it escalates.
"Sir we have shut down the live streaming. There's no knowing how many copies of it that has been made but we will shut it down as soon as it gets out", a technician addressed mark, earning a sigh of relief from him.
Apparently, someone was life streaming the eclipse and it will raise international alarm seeing as there are no predictions about an eclipse, especially one where the time of collision between the two big stars was rather rushed.
Some netizens had taken to the internet to demand answers as to why an eclipse was not announced and wanted to know what was happening.
"Ebime is here. In our world", Mark answered the woman and didn't miss the angry flash that passed through her eyes.
"And you didn't seem it fit to inform us? Jesus Christ, Mark!", The woman barked at him.
"She needed to be here alright! It was a hasty decision but she needed to be here to take their ruler herself", he rushed out.
"And I presume it's going great right?"
Yemi Blaq sassed at him, earning a lost look from the confused man.
LAGOS, NIGERIA
"Aikum tu fi tëga murdà! Moon and sun, together as one, grant us your power!", Only Pere and Ona chanted this time allowing the energy of the sun and the moon to flow through them.
Ebime charged at Oyinda who was almost killing her uncle and a touch from her had the girl struggling, hissing and snarling at her.
Thick lumps of blood fell from Oyinda's nose while she fought against Egichi's child, thrashing and howling into the air as Ishaka lay lifeless.
While Pere and Ona chanted, Osas and Bolanle looked troubled and Ishaka lay lifeless, Ebime overpowered the girl, sending her into another realm of unconsciousness.
Not wanting to take chances, Ebime used the magic powers at her disposal to levitate the unconscious girl and threw her on the other side of the portal, sending Ishaka, Bolanle, Osas, Ona and Pere along with her while she took hold of a weakened enforcer.
"Today never happened", Ebime whispered to the man who nodded along and immediately fell asleep.
As quickly as the moon and sun appeared they disappeared, as if that was any normal morning. Except nothing was normal anymore. This was just a glimpse of what the next few months, years even might look like.
