Chapter 3 - Two Blonde Strangers

Chapter 2 - Two Blonde Strangers

Both of them were taken aback by Yukio attitude.

"How rude!"

The man immediately wore a fierce expression.

His face twisted with anger as he glared viciously at Yukio, clearly ready to strike.

"Brother-sama, calm down. We're here for business."

The blonde girl glanced at the man, stopping his furious outburst with clear displeasure.

She scolded him, "You don't want to ruin our mission because of your sudden impulse, do you?"

Brother-sama?

The name sounded really full of chunibyo style.

How could a normal sister call her brother like that?

He found it strange that the behavior of the two blonde siblings was so different from that of ordinary people.

"Tsk!"

The man let out a displeased sound and then said, "Fine."

As he spoke, he cast a contemptuous glance at Yukio. "Hmph, boy, you're lucky. If you were rude to me at another time, I'd taught you a lesson."

Well, sure.

This guy might have some brain issues.

"Brother-sama, can you stop talking like that?"

Ravel glared at her older brother, immediately silencing him.

"I'm sorry, my brother has a really bad personality, and it gives me a headache," she apologized to Yukio.

"Never mind."

Yukio shook his head, not intending to argue with the two siblings who were clearly in the wrong.

"Let's get to the point. I have things to do later, and I don't have time to waste with you."

Hearing this, Ravel didn't hesitate.

She took a deep breath and, as if gathering courage, said, "Actually, I'm here to break off the marriage contract with you today."

Yukio was stunned by Ravel's words.

Break off the marriage contract?

What kind of bizarre situation was this?

First, he had transmigrated, then these two blondes with strange minds showed up, and now it was suddenly about breaking off a marriage contract?

"Hey, boy, what's your answer?"

"Hurry up and agree to my sister's request to break off the marriage contract!"

Seeing Yukio stay silent, the man immediately urged him.

"I don't have any fiancée in my memory."

"Are you sure you've got the right person?" Yukio replied, looking at Ravel.

He searched through his memories but couldn't find anything related to a fiancée.

Neither in this life nor the past one.

There was no fiancée.

Could it be that his parents had arranged this for him?

Very likely.

After all, his predecessor came from the Fujiwara family, so it wouldn't be strange if they had arranged a fiancée for him.

But still… this was so unreliable.

Who arranged this?

"You must have heard of a man named Fujiwara Toshiro, right?" Ravel asked.

Yukio: "..."

Fujiwara Toshiro?

Yukio tried to recall but couldn't think of anyone by that name.

To be honest, he only remembered his grandfather, who had once been Japan's prime minister, and after that… everything was blank.

He didn't know anything about the past.

"Stop pretending to be stupid," the man sneered.

"Before we came here, we thoroughly investigated you. You're the one tied to my sister by a marriage contract."

"Then let me ask you something!" Yukio rolled his eyes.

"I'm just reminding you," the man continued.

"You should know how lucky you are to have a marriage contract with my dear sister."

"It's enough to make you live in glory for the rest of your life."

The man spoke with the pride.

"Heh."

Yukio sneered, "You must have a headache dealing with this."

"Boy, you're too ignorant," the man growled, clearly irritated.

"Brother-sama, can you stop causing trouble?" Ravel glared at her older brother, immediately silencing him.

Riser curled his lips, clearly upset.

It was obvious he no longer cared about Yukio—at least for his sister's sake.

"It's really rude. We've been here for so long, and I haven't introduced myself yet."

Ravel lifted the corner of her skirt slightly, bowed elegantly, and performed a ladylike gesture like an aristocrat:

"My name is Ravel Phenex, and this troublesome guy is my older brother, Riser Phenex."

"Okay?"

The names of these two suddenly triggered a memory in Yukio's mind.

The familiar recollections rushed back like a flood.

He finally understood why these two looked so familiar.

Aren't they the Phenex siblings from the anime High School DxD that he had watched.

"What's your attitude?"

Ravel had introduced herself but Yukio still remained indifferent, which was unbearable for Riser.

If it weren't for the marriage contract, Riser would have taught Yukio a lesson by now.

"Yukio Fujiwara."

Yukio suppressed his surprise and calmly stated his name.

"But I think my self-introduction is unnecessary. You already know it very well."

"Yes, we do know about you," Ravel replied with a slight smile.

"Can you explain what's going on? I'm still confused. I didn't even know I had a fiancée like you," Yukio said, deciding to play it safe.

Who knew if these two really were the Phenex siblings from High School DxD?

If they were, what if he angered them and ended up being burned?

"Alright."

Ravel nodded, looked around, and asked, "But do you want to talk here?"

"Please come in."

Yukio stepped aside and invited the two into the room.

"Then I'll bother you."

Ravel responded politely and entered the room, kneeling at the door to change her shoes.

After standing up, Ravel suddenly lost her balance and lurched forward.

Seeing this, Yukio quickly reached out and wrapped his arms around her to prevent her from falling.

The moment he touched Ravel, a system prompt echoed in Yukio's mind.
