Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 : A Broken Beginning .

1. The story began with Sofia, a teenage girl whose world unraveled far too soon. She became pregnant at sixteen, an age when most girls dreamed of their future. For Sofia, however, her dreams turned into nightmares as the weight of responsibility crushed her. Her son, Li Gags, was born into a world that had already turned its back on him—and his mother.

2. Sofia grew up in a small, humble village surrounded by sprawling green fields and the laughter of her many siblings. Her father, the respected leader of their community, was known as a kind and just man, while her mother was the stern matriarch who kept the household in order. Life in the village was simple but comforting, a rhythm of chores, festivals, and familial love.

3. However, Sofia's life took a sharp turn when her family moved to the town. She was twelve years old when her mother, tired of village life, decided to uproot the family in search of better opportunities. The bustling streets of the town were overwhelming for Sofia, who had only known the quiet simplicity of village life.

4. Adjusting wasn't easy, but Sofia adapted. By the time she turned sixteen, she had friends, attended school, and even had a boyfriend she thought she loved. But everything came crashing down when she discovered she was pregnant.

5.Her mother's reaction was swift and merciless. "You've brought shame to this family," her mother spat, her voice trembling with anger. "You are no longer welcome in this house." Sofia begged for forgiveness, tears streaming down her face, but her mother's heart had turned to stone.

6. With no choice but to leave, Sofia packed her few belongings and walked out of her home, the only one she had ever known. She went to her boyfriend, the father of her child, desperate for support. Surely he would understand.

7. But when she told him about the pregnancy, his reaction was even colder than her mother's. "That's not my kid," he said bluntly, his eyes narrowing. "Get out. I'm not dealing with your mess."

8. Heartbroken and betrayed, Sofia stumbled out of his house, tears blurring her vision. The streets felt colder, darker, and more unforgiving than ever before.

9.With no family or friends willing to take her in, Sofia found herself wandering aimlessly. She eventually ended up on the streets, surviving on scraps of food she scavenged from trash bins. The once-vibrant girl, full of dreams and aspirations, now struggled just to make it through each day.

10. The Struggle to Survive

Each day brought new challenges. Sofia's body, weakened by hunger and exhaustion, grew frail. The harsh conditions of living on the streets took a toll on her health, but she held on—for her unborn child.

11. At times, dark thoughts consumed her. She blamed the baby for everything that had gone wrong in her life. "If only I hadn't gotten pregnant," she whispered to herself on particularly hopeless nights. The idea of ending it all, for both herself and the child, lingered in the back of her mind. But every time she felt herself sinking into despair, a faint glimmer of hope pulled her back.

12. One day, Sofia found herself outside a busy restaurant, the smell of food wafting through the air. It was intoxicating, a cruel reminder of what she couldn't have. Her stomach growled painfully, and her vision began to blur.

13. She tried to steady herself, but her legs gave out beneath her. Sofia collapsed onto the pavement, her body crumpling as gasps of shock erupted from onlookers.

14. "She's pregnant!" someone shouted, and a small crowd gathered around her. Some speculated that hunger had caused her collapse, while others believed the rich smell of food had overwhelmed her weakened body.

15. Moments later, the wail of an ambulance siren pierced the air. Paramedics arrived quickly, lifting Sofia onto a stretcher as concerned murmurs rippled through the crowd.

16. "She's so young," one woman whispered.

17. "Do you think the baby's okay?" another asked.

18. The paramedics worked swiftly, their faces tense with concentration. Sofia's condition was critical, and the fate of her unborn child hung in the balance.

19. When Sofia regained consciousness, she found herself lying on a hospital bed, the sterile white walls a stark contrast to the chaos of the streets. Her hand instinctively flew to her stomach.

20. "My baby!" she cried, panic lacing her voice. "Where is my baby?"

21. A nurse entered the room, her expression calm but compassionate. In her arms, she held a tiny bundle wrapped in a soft blue blanket.

22. "Your baby is safe," the nurse said gently, walking over to Sofia and placing the bundle in her arms.

23. Sofia's breath caught as she looked down at the tiny face peeking out from the blanket. His skin was pink, his features delicate, and his eyes tightly shut. She traced a trembling finger over his cheek, tears streaming down her face.

24. "It's a boy," she whispered, her voice breaking. "My baby boy."

25. In that moment, all the pain and suffering she had endured faded into the background. Her son, Li Gags, was here, and he was perfect.

26. Holding her son for the first time, Sofia felt a surge of determination. She had lost everything—her family, her home, her dreams—but she still had him. He was her reason to fight, her reason to keep going.

27. The nurse watched Sofia with a warm smile. "You're lucky," she said softly. "Not many women in your situation would have survived, let alone the baby."

28. Sofia nodded, her grip tightening around Li. "I won't let him down," she murmured, her voice filled with quiet resolve.

29. A Fragile Start

Though Sofia had survived childbirth, her challenges were far from over. The hospital could only keep her for a few days before releasing her back into the harsh reality of the streets. With no home to return to and no money to her name, Sofia faced an uncertain future.

30. But as she cradled her son, she vowed to find a way to give him a better life. No matter how hard it got, she would fight for him.

31. The world had turned its back on her, but Sofia refused to give up. For Li, she would endure anything.
