The sun hadn't even fully risen, but Kian was already awake.
The night had passed in fits and starts, each hour dragging on like a heavy weight pressing against his chest. His mind had been in constant turmoil, wrestling with the gravity of the decision ahead.
Marrying Alex and his partners. Becoming part of a world he didn't understand, yet one that seemed to offer him everything he'd never had.
He stood in front of the mirror, staring at his reflection, his pulse quickening with every passing second.
The boy looking back at him seemed so distant, so foreign. The pale skin, the soft curves of his body, the uncertainty in his eyes—they felt like echoes of the past, remnants of a life that had left him broken and searching. He had never imagined his life could take such a sharp turn.
Till yesterday, he hadn't even known these men except the tale of Alex and his partners, "The Four Buisness Legends of T-City". Today, he was about to become their partner.
He could still hear Alex's voice in his head: "We'll take care of you, Kian. You won't regret this."
But the doubts were still there. Could he truly trust them? Could he trust himself?
Kian clenched his fists, taking a deep, shaky breath.
No turning back.
Not now.
He dressed in the best clothes he could find. A faded shirt and a pair of jeans that had seen better days.
The clothes clung to him in an odd way, as if they were reminders of who he had been, not who he was about to become. He felt out of place in the worn fabric, like a patchwork piece in a world where everything else was pristine and perfect.
The mirror caught his eye once more. The soft lines of his face were familiar, yet his eyes—his eyes were different.
For the first time in a long while, there was something more than pain behind them.
A flicker of hope, maybe.
Or was it fear? It was hard to tell.
The sound of the engine outside broke him from his reverie. Alex's car, T-Criystiana, the sleek, black vehicle gleamed in the morning light, as though the car itself was a symbol of the life Kian was about to step into.
With one last deep breath, Kian walked out of his room and finally the door, the weight of the world heavy on his shoulders.
Each step toward the car felt like an insurmountable climb. The air was thick with the scent of fresh grass and the promise of change. He stopped at the front gate, looking out at the world beyond.
Would he ever feel like he belonged again?
Would this life, this new beginning, be enough?
Alex's figure appeared in the doorway of the car, tall and imposing, with an air of quiet authority that drew Kian in without him even realizing it.
His dark eyes flicked over Kian's form, searching for something—what, Kian wasn't sure. But when their gazes locked, Kian felt a surge of something... powerful. Almost magnetic. Something primal.
"Are you ready?" Alex's voice was deep and smooth, filled with an unshakable calmness, yet it carried an undertone of something more—something he couldn't quite place.
Kian hesitated, his throat dry. This was it. This was the moment that would change everything. He could feel his pulse thundering in his ears.
Could he really do this?
Could he really give in to the life that was waiting for him?
"I… I think so," Kian whispered, his voice almost lost in the quiet morning air. His hands shook as he stepped closer to the car. A small, reassuring smile spread across Alex's face.
"Good," Alex said, his tone softening for just a moment.
"You won't regret this, Kian. We're going to take care of you."
Kian's heart beat faster, the words settling into his chest like a warmth that reached all the way to his bones. They'll take care of me. The thought should have comforted him, but it only made the enormity of the moment feel even more surreal.
The car's door opened with a soft click, and Kian slid inside. The moment he did, a strange sense of finality settled over him.
There was no going back now. He could feel the world shifting around him as the car began to glide smoothly forward, the city's towering buildings fading behind him.
The drive was silent, but it wasn't an uncomfortable silence. It was the kind of silence that weighed heavily with unspoken words, with emotions both raw and uncertain.
Kian's mind raced, each thought jumbled and tangled.
What had he gotten himself into?
Would they truly accept him for who he was—or was he simply a pawn in a game he didn't understand?
Alex's calm presence beside him was the only thing keeping him grounded. But even then, there was a flicker of tension in the air. A sharpness that made Kian wonder just how much of himself he would have to give up in this new world.
It was a long drive, but they were headed directly to the Crystal Hall in T-City—the grand venue where the ceremony would take place. The Hall loomed ahead as they drew closer, and the sense of finality grew heavier in Kian's chest.
The Crystal Hall was legendary, a place where the city's wealthiest and most influential came to celebrate unions of all kinds. The marble columns, grand chandeliers, and glass walls reflected the city lights, giving the venue an almost magical feel.
It was a place Kian had only heard of in whispers, a world away from his own humble existence.
As the car turned onto the long driveway leading to the Crystal Hall, Kian's breath hitched. This wasn't just a venue—it was an empire of elegance, grandeur, and wealth, and Kian was about to become a part of it.
Alex parked the car smoothly, and Kian could barely focus on the sounds of the engine shutting off, or the soft click of the car doors unlocking.
He could only stare at the Hall, the massive structure before him, its glass façade sparkling like a thousand diamonds catching the sun.
It was both beautiful and intimidating—everything Kian had never known, everything he didn't feel he deserved, yet everything he was about to step into.
Alex stepped out of the car first, moving with purpose and confidence. He extended a hand to Kian, his expression calm, yet there was an edge to it now, a sharpness Kian hadn't noticed before.
"Welcome to your new beginning," Alex said softly, his voice warm yet filled with an undercurrent of something deeper—something Kian could sense but not quite grasp.
"Get ready. We'll wait for you in the ballroom."
Kian's heart pounded as he slowly stepped out of the car. The air was thick with anticipation. His legs felt heavy, each step toward the Crystal Hall feeling like it was leading him into the unknown. This was it. The point of no return.
As he walked beside Alex, the grand doors of the Crystal Hall swung open, revealing the magnificent space inside.
The high ceilings, the glimmering chandeliers, the sea of guests all turned toward him—the weight of the moment was suffocating, yet exhilarating.
Alex said pointing towards the manager of Crystal Hall who came to welcome the most rich CEO of the Continent, Alex and his omega bride, " Kian, Russell will take you to the changing room. Change into any clothes of your liking and come to the Ballroom on the ground floor."
Kian replied, "Okay". Then, started following Russell to the changing room, which was on the first floor.
Kian knew his life was about to change, forever. This marriage would bring him happiness or pain was not known yet.
