*3rd POV
"Hmmmm... this is really good!" Veronica said as she continued eating her chicken breast. Across from Georgie, a little girl was enthusiastically devouring her chicken, completely oblivious to her surroundings. Georgie smiled and grabbed a napkin to wipe the young girl's lips.
The little girl saw a hand approaching her and immediately shielded her food, thinking someone was trying to take it. "Mine! … Oh, it's you…" she said, lowering her guard when she realized it was Georgie.
Connie had finished her chicken and was now sipping her beer, her eyes darting toward Missy's plate. Meanwhile, Sheldon was eating his chicken slowly, mumbling to himself, "…this is good, but tonight is spaghetti with hotdog night…" Yet, despite his complaint, he had a delighted expression on his face.
"What?" Georgie asked, noticing Connie's stare. When she realized there was no chance with Missy's plate, Connie turned to Georgie instead. "…Never mind," Connie said, getting up to place her plate in the sink. Georgie shrugged and went back to eating.
Veronica glanced at Georgie multiple times, frustrated and a bit annoyed that he seemed to be deliberately ignoring her earlier flirting and kiss. She didn't understand why she felt this way—so challenged, so flustered. Why? Why did she want this? With Georgie?

*Georgie's POV
"Thank you for inviting me to this family dinner," Veronica said to me with a bright smile. Just as I was about to respond, Connie's voice cut me off. "No problem, sweetie…" she said, smirking at me.
I paused and looked at Veronica, who giggled at Connie's remark while sneaking a glance at me. We were all in the backyard now, relaxing after dinner.
Missy, sitting beside me, narrowed her eyes at Veronica before turning back to me with a mischievous smile. "Brother, sing me a song!"
"What?" I asked, squinting at her suspiciously as she gave me an innocent yet cunning grin. "…Why?"
"Hmmm, no reason!" Missy replied, averting her gaze.
I noticed Veronica looking at me with wide eyes. "You can sing?" she asked, glancing at Missy, who grinned at her.
Oh, I get it. Missy wanted me to sing for Veronica. She'd heard me sing before and knew I had a good voice, so there was no way she wanted me to embarrass myself in front of Veronica.
I could only assume Missy wanted Veronica to regret not falling for me. How narcissistic of me! Still, if Missy wanted me to sing, how could I say no?
"Oh, I've never heard you sing before. I've only heard stories about it…" Connie chimed in, sipping her beer.
"Could you sing something now?" Veronica asked, her eyes pleading.
"…I haven't written any songs lately," I said with a sigh.
"It's okay, brother. You can sing my song," Missy said, nodding like she was making a wise and noble sacrifice.
Oh, and Sheldon wasn't here with us. He'd said something like, 'And sacrifice my blood to mosquitoes out there? No, thank you. I'll stay inside.' Yeah, that was typical Sheldon.
"But that's my song for you…" I teased Missy, pretending to be hurt. She took it seriously, though, and said, "…Fine, play another song for her." Without realizing it, she revealed her real motive.
"I have a request," Connie said, looking at me. "How about George Michael's Faith?" She sipped her beer, giving me a straight look. I knew how Connie act around—she loved us all but couldn't resist having some fun.
Yeah, she was messing with me. "George Michael, huh? Sure. Missy, please grab my guitar," I said, smiling at Missy and Connie.
Connie seemed a bit startled. "You're actually going to sing George Michael?" she asked, clearly expecting a 'no' from me. "Sure, it's a simple song for me," I replied casually, smirking.
Veronica beamed. Every girl probably loved George Michael at this point, especially Faith. No doubt she'd seen the music video.
"Are you sure?" Connie asked again, glancing at Veronica, as if giving me a signal. "Yeah, I am" I said.
Missy had already gone to fetch my guitar, and I saw Sheldon following her. "Shelly! Joining the party?" I called out, ruffling his hair.
"Don't mess with my hair," Sheldon retorted, pulling out a comb to fix it. "I don't like mosquitoes, but my curiosity outweighs that right now." he added, eyeing my guitar.
"You just want to hear Brother sing!" Missy teased. "You can't stand being outdone by me!" Missy smirked as Sheldon stayed silent.
"Shut it, both of you," Connie interjected. "Georgie here is about to give a special performance for this young lady." She smiled at Veronica but then whispered to me, "It's not too late to back out, you stupid boy."
Veronica giggled but kept her eyes on me, waiting as I tuned my guitar. "Where did you get that guitar?" she asked, seeming to recognize it.
"From school. Mrs. Fenley lent it to me for practice," I replied.
"Well, here's a special performance for my first-ever fan," I said, glancing at Missy, who giggled at my words. I looked at Connie and Sheldon as well. "Of course, this is for my family, too. I hope you'll support me as I'll support whatever you do."
Then I turned to Veronica, who looked a bit uneasy. "And for my special guest tonight, the lovely Veronica," I added. "Thank you for joining us. Take a seat and enjoy this poor performance of mine."
Veronica and Connie laughed, but Missy and Sheldon frowned at my self-deprecating comment.
I began playing the guitar, the spirited, upbeat intro of Faith ringing out. Connie seemed surprised, probably doubting I could play so skillfully.

*Future Missy POV
I remember that day, the first time my brother sang me a song. Not just any song, but my song, a song dedicated to me—a beautiful song just for me. The first performance he ever gave to someone else was for me.
The first song he ever sang in front of someone else was with me. That was the first time I saw my big brother in a different light. I loved my big brother for the first time at that moment. Not that I didn't love my big brother before, but I loved him more after that song.
I love my family too, but Georgie is different from everyone else, even from Sheldon. I've always liked him first more than anyone else in my family. So, when he brought a girl home with us, I did… judge her a little bit—whether she was good enough for my brother.
She seemed nice; she didn't just look at my brother but greeted me too. I'm good at judging people; my big brother always says things like that. And of course, I know I'm not as smart as Shelly or Georgie, but I know that everyone has their own strengths.
That's what my big brother always says.
So I said something I slightly regretted at that moment… I asked my brother to sing for the first time in front of someone else other than his family… Well, that's what I thought until he told me that the first song he sang for someone else besides me was for his teacher—the one he slept with when he was 15! Damn it, Mrs. Fenley… that bitch!
Fuuuu… Anyway, yeah, he sang for Veronica in front of all four of us, and, well, it was a bit… over the top.
Now I'm a little mad at Memaw.
----------
*Connie POV
Well, I didn't expect him to agree! Maybe I should apologize to him and stop him right now, but I just couldn't stop him once he started playing his guitar.
I saw the smile of my grandson, the one I've always thought was dumb, but this time I saw him differently. He was born to be a singer! He's a performer!.
My foot couldn't stop tapping on the floor as I listened to him play his guitar. Then I heard his voice—it was a little teasing toward the girl sitting next to me.
Well, I'll be damned. Looking at this woman face right now, seemed like the type who'd gladly spread her legs for Georgie. I am not judging but I know that look very well.

*3rd POV
(George Michael – Faith)
With his guitar strumming and hips swaying, Georgie played his guitar masterfully. He created a happy vibe, making others want to move their bodies to the rhythm.
"Well, I guess it would be nice if I could touch your body…
I know not everybody… has got a body like you! Hmmm…
But I gotta think twice… before I give my heart away,
And I know all the games you play because I played them too!"
Georgie sang and swayed his hips, not looking at anyone else, only at Veronica, who was surprised to hear his singing voice. They all listened in silence, but their feet and fingers tapped along with Georgie's guitar rhythm.
"Oh, but I need some time off from that emotion…
Time to pick my heart up off the floor!
Oh, when that love comes down without devotion…
Well, it takes a strong man, baby,
But I'm showin' you the door."
Georgie got carried away, moving his body exaggeratedly. Everyone listening followed along, moving with Georgie's flow—Missy danced with her tiny frame, Connie swayed, and Veronica moved her body closer and closer to Georgie. Sheldon… well, he was Sheldon, creating his own unique movements.
Veronica danced next to Georgie, her hand touching his shoulder as she danced leaning on him.
"'Cause I gotta' have faith,
I gotta have faith…
Because I gotta have faith, faith, faith…
I got to have faith, faith, faith, ahh!"
Connie clapped her hands during the chorus. Veronica touched Georgie's chest and wrapped her arms behind him. Missy noticed this but didn't object since Georgie quickly pulled away while still singing.
"Baby, I know you're askin' me to stay…
Say, "Please, please, please don't go away"
You say I'm givin' you the blues."
Georgie swayed his body as if to avoid Veronica, playing a little catch me if you can game. Veronica, slightly annoyed, moved her body to chase Georgie.
Missy noticed Veronica going after Georgie and stepped in, blocking her as if to invite Veronica to dance with her instead. Veronica, seeing Missy in front of her, continued moving her body, now dancing with Missy.
Connie saw Georgie walking toward her and Sheldon. She wanted to see what the boy would do but was surprised when Georgie climbed onto a chair and stood on the table. "Oho!"
"Maybe (Huh) you mean every word you say…
Can't help but think of yesterday…
And another who tied me down to loverboy rules."
Georgie sang and swayed low like George Michael. This made Connie laugh, and Sheldon backed away, not wanting to be near Georgie's risky moves.
Georgie jumped down and approached Veronica, who glanced at him. Smiling, they locked eyes.
Before this river becomes an ocean…
Before you throw my heart back on the floor.
They stared into each other's eyes. Veronica reached out to touch Georgie, but he pulled away from her grasp.
"Oh, baby, I reconsider my foolish notion…
Well, I need someone to hold me,
But I'll wait for somethin' more!"
Georgie smiled at Veronica and swayed his body again. He shifted his gaze to Missy, who was thrilled to see Georgie looking at her. They danced together.
"Yes, I gotta have faith…
Ooh, I gotta have faith…
Because I gotta have faith, faith, faith…
I gotta have faith, faith, faith."
As the lyrics ended, Georgie stopped playing his guitar, looking at everyone smiling and clapping—except for Veronica, who just stared at him.
Georgie noticed Veronica not clapping and simply staring. "...Are you enjoying the show?" Georgie asked Veronica with a smirk.
Veronica, seeing this, was slightly annoyed with Georgie. She understood what Georgie meant and realized what he was doing. "Oh yeah, I enjoy it!" she said sarcastically, with a look that promised Georgie had made her target list.
"What happened?" Sheldon asked Connie, not understanding the unspoken exchange between Georgie and Veronica.
"Oh, you don't wanna know…." Connie said, taking another sip of her beer.
