Chapter 16 - Power Unleashed

Yami turned to Elyas and said, "Stay behind me. I'll face this beast alone." Elyas nodded, trusting Yami's decision. Moments later, Balarok, his eyes glowing with excitement, spoke up. "Come on, Yami, let's fight again. Show me your true power!" Yami smirked and replied, "That's exactly what I plan to do." With those words, he summoned his power, and a thick, swirling layer of ice surrounded him.

leaving only Elyas untouched. He focused, then leaped toward Balarok, ready to strike. Balarok, grinning, welcomed the challenge. The two collided with an explosion of energy, exchanging rapid, fierce attacks. Yami's ice cracked and shattered with each hit, while Balarok's Blueflame burned through the cold air.

he flames were unlike any ordinary fire, stronger and fiercer than anything Yami had faced before. The battle between them was intense, neither willing to back down as their powers clashed in a stunning display of strength.

Yami and the Beast began their battle, taking turns to attack. Just as Alaric and Brody returned to the fight, they were ready to help Yami defeat Balarok. However, Balarok called his teammates to stop them from interfering.

He summoned Balarik and Balarak, two-headed beasts. As soon as they appeared, one of the beasts jumped at Brody, while the other attacked Alaric.

After that, Yami said, "I can handle this alone, guys. Focus on your enemies. I will crush him and take revenge." Balarok, mocking Yami, looked scared. Yami cast a spell called Blizzard Storm, which slowed the enemy's movements and reduced their visibility.

In response, Balarok cast his own magic to reflect Yami's attack. He used Celestial Pyre, a spell that burns everything in its path, and aimed it at Yami. Yami quickly dodged the attack and cast another spell.

Yami cast another magic spell called Frostbite Fang, creating razor-sharp ice to attack Balarok. However, Balarok countered with his Celestial Pyre, melting Yami's attack. Balarok smirked and said, "You can't defeat me with such weak magic, Yami. Use something stronger!" Yami grew angry at Balarok's taunt and prepared to cast another powerful spell.

The scene shifted to Alaric and his opponent, Balarik. Alaric said, "I'll finish this quickly and help the vice-captain." Balarik replied with a mocking tone, "Scary." Alaric attacked first, casting his spell, Doom's Cascade. Balarik was shocked by the power of the attack but managed to dodge it. He muttered to himself, "What a powerful magic!

Balarik said to Alaric, "You're strong. Get ready for my attack!" Balarik summoned a spell, creating a large circle of fire that could burn anything to ashes. Alaric dodged it just in time and noticed a tree nearby reduced to nothing.

Balarik muttered, "He's fast too." Then, Balarik cast another spell aimed at Alaric. This time, Alaric was hit, and the fire moved toward a tree. He barely managed to reflect it with his shield magic.

The scene shifted to Brody, who was facing his opponent, Balarak. Unlike most beasts, Balarak was a talkative creature. He looked at Brody and said, "Why are you so quiet? Don't you have anything to say?"

Brody didn't respond and instead began his attack, moving like lightning toward Balarak. But Balarak dodged the attack easily and chuckled. "Wait! I'm still talking! You're so rude, Mr. Quiet Guy."

Ignoring Balarak's words, Brody quickly closed the gap and delivered a powerful punch. The force of the blow sent Balarak flying into a tree, snapping it in half. Balarak stood up immediately, brushing off the attack as though it was nothing. "I'm still talking, Mr. Rude Guy," he said mockingly. Then, to Brody's surprise, Balarak's body turned into ashes. The ashes swirled through the air and reformed right in front of Brody.

Before Brody could react, Balarak unleashed a spell called Cinderstorm Barrage. Streams of burning cinders flew toward Brody in rapid succession. Brody dodged the initial attacks with ease, moving quickly to avoid the flames.

However, the Cinderstorm was no ordinary spell. The burning cinders followed Brody no matter how fast he moved. Lost in his confidence, Brody didn't notice the cinders trailing behind him. When he finally stopped, the storm of fiery embers struck him from all sides. The searing heat slowed his movements, leaving him vulnerable as Balarak smirked and prepared for his next attack.

Brody smirked at Balarak, and Balarak stopped talking. He asked, "What are you smiling at?"

Brody didn't answer. Instead, he quickly attacked again with his Thunderstrike Lance. The lightning spear shot toward Balarak with incredible speed and power. Balarak didn't notice it in time and was struck directly. The force of the attack sent a shock through his body, leaving him paralyzed. He collapsed, unconscious.

Brody looked down at Balarak and said, "You're so annoying." Without wasting another moment, he turned and moved forward to help Yami.

Alaric continued to fight Balarak, but he noticed that Balarak was always staying at a distance. Determined to change the flow of the battle, Alaric decided to try out a new magic he had been practicing in the training field. He quickly channeled his magic into his movements and speed toward Balarak.

Balarak saw Alaric closing in with incredible speed and muttered, "He's too fast!" Trying to defend himself, Balarak began to cast another fire spell. But Alaric was faster—he dodged the attack with ease.

Using his wind magic, Alaric formed a sharp, wind-powered blade and swung it toward Balarak. The blade cut through the air, and in an instant, Balarak's head was severed from his body

Alaric stood over Balarak's fallen body, staring at the head left on the ground. "He's so powerful," balarik said, still trying to understand what had just happened. Something felt strange about this man.

After that, Alaric started moving toward Yami to help. However, Brody reached Yami first. When he arrived, he saw Yami struggling against Balarok, who was attacking fiercely. Yami's movements were slowing, and it seemed like Balarok was overpowering him. Brody knew he had to act fast to prevent Yami from being defeated.
