Chapter one
In a bright crimson river a boy saw a man standing in the distance. Everything was red and blurry. Then he could hear a song-
"Let the god's ultimate creation be with one. One shall be ten, and then…."
A man stands in the middle of a blood pool and see's blood covered people moaning everywhere stuck in the pool. There were people who were holding on the man and then they tried to tear his legs.
"Everything is your fault! If it was not for you…"
The man was staring at the people was silent, but suddenly a drop of tear fell in the pool. The man looked at boy but his face was not visible. Man whispered something to the boy.
"Look at the decisions you've made. May god never bring you ease!"
Boy tried to catch the man but he just kept getting even more away from him. Then the boy loudly heard
"Wake up!"
"Wake up ji hyun ! It's your birthday."- Said a voice.
Then ji hyun woke up to see that it is his big brother. He is here to wake him up because today is his seventh birthday. Ji hyun is very excited about his birthday because every year they celebrate their birthday by going to a different tourist spots. The boy was still wondering what the dream was about.
"Good morning brother jihae. Where are mom and dad?" asked ji hyun.
"Oh! They must be fishing at the pond. We will soon be heading out to the mount fuji."
Ji hyun then started getting ready as they were going to be soon will be going to celebrate his birthday. It is usual for his parents to go out and then his brother would take him there and they have been using the method from last two years.
"They think I don't know what they are going to do." He imagined, "I'd better let them think I don't know."
"Oh well I would be taking you to the location where we are going to cele-. Oh sorry! Where our parents are! "
As the boy was getting ready to leave the hotel room in the nearby town of honshu to meet at a picnic location. He thought of his weird dream and what it was about. Then they took a cab. On the way to the picnic location the boy thought to himself
"Today I am going to have a lot of fun."
"Ji hyun, we have almost arrived at our destination. Look! There are our parents."
As they got at their parents location, they saw their parents on a picnic blanket with a cake on it. There
"Happy birthday ji hyun!"
"You are now 7 years old."
"Thank you, mom and dad." Said ji hyun to his parents.
"Hey, little guy! Are you forgetting about me? If that is the case then I won't be giving you these presents I brought."
"Now-now jihae, don't tease your younger brother."
Ji hyun's mom then lit the candles. His father was holding a camera to click the picture of the moment. His brother was ready to present him the gifts.
"Hurry and blow up the candles now."
As the ji hyun was blowing up the candles, he suddenly felt that something was watching him and it was not giving a good feeling to him. But he just decided to ignore it. After this he closed his eyes and said something.
"Hey ji hyun, what did you wish for?" asked his brother.
"I wished that I want to be a great football player" said ji hyun while looking at his father.
"Well, if you train hard and eat your food properly who knows what you may become." said his father.
"SUJIN, you know what we decided, right?" said his mother.
"Oh yeah, I almost forgot about it. You know ji hyun, we have decides that soon we will shift in Europe. There, you can play football. Is that ok with you?"
Ji hyun after knowing this started to jump with happiness thinking that he can finally do what he wants to do.
His brother, seeing him with joy decided to take the camera from his father and clicked a picture of him.
"It's getting cloudy maybe we shall go to the hotel and there we can celebrate his birthday." told Sujin to the family.
Then they together getting back at the hotel celebrated his birthday by many ways and then they returned back to their room. There, after taking a bath, ji hyun was lying down on the room's bed. His brother was busy playing games while his parents were talking about what a day they have spent together with the family.
"Gyuri, I think we should get some drinks for us and kids. It will help in refreshing us."
Sujin and gyuri were about to leave the room but suddenly ji hyun stopped them.
"Villains, you must defeat the hero before leaving the house." said to both his parents.
"Ok, I am going to defeat you. Prepare to fight me hero" said Sujin.
His father and he started fighting playfully and he was having a lot of fun because every time he punched his father, he would start rolling over and over. His mother and brother started to cheer for him.
"you are strong hero…."Sujin said in a weak voice. "I cannot defeat you…"
"yes, I am the strongest." Said ji hyun
"not so soon" Sujin said as he lifted him in the air. "now I have captured you"
Ji hyun laughed as he said, "You are the best father in the worl…"
As ji hyun was saying this "Thew!" sound was all he heard in that moment and suddenly his father collapsed and he was dropped on the ground. He couldn't realize what was happening here. When she saw his mother's face, he saw a horror of something wrong has been done. The same look can be seen on his brother's face and when looked at his father he was terrified with what he had seen. All he saw was blood coming out of his father's head.
"fathherrrr…!" he screamed.
"now is not the time to grief, Jihae hide your brother somewhere."
"yes mom." Jihae said as he was putting his brother in the closet. "ok buddy! Don't make any noise or you'll be killed"
As his brother was saying this Ji hyun could hear sound of windows cracking and gunshots .he was silently weeping in the closet. After some time he heard some noises and people talking on the radio about something.
(Radio buzzing) "Have you neutralized all the targets?"
(Unknown man voice) "Yes sir! We have successfully taken down all three member of Hwan-song family."
(Radio buzzing) "Good. Make sure they don't have that, ok."
(Unknown man voice) "Yes sir! It is our duty as the members of White tiger Organization to protect that."
As the man said this, Ji hyun peaked out to see who is out talking. There he saw a man armed with weapons from neck to knees, wearing a black military dress and he had a white logo which looked like a tiger face for him. His hairs were white and he had a cut on his nose and he looked young.
(Radio buzzing) "Also make sure you burn the family's corpses or it will be dangerous to leave them just like that."
(Unknown man) "Ok sir. We will carry out your order."
After this Ji hyun heard that somebody was being dragged and he heard someone break a bottle and then everything became silent. Suddenly he heard crackling noise in the room and smelled some foul smell. When he thought that nobody is out Ji hyun, he decided to get out.
He was shaking with fear as he was getting out of the closet. He was wishing for his mother and brother to be safe, but to his horror, he saw his family being burned in the fire.
"aaaahhhhhh…!" he screamed.
"Mom? Dad? Brother?" he said while sobbing.
"Why? Why is all this happening" (Crying) "Whyyyyyyyy?"
"JI HYUN!" his mother said.
She still had a little life in her ji hyun held her head in his hands. Ji hyun saw that she had been shot many times and blood was flowing out of her body which had painted her red with the blood.
"Mom! What is happening? No, that is not important. I'm going to carry you to hospital."
He picked up her mother by grabbing her hands and putting it on her shoulder. Then he began to move towards the door but he was not able to open it. How could he? He never reached the door's handle so why today it would open.
"It is futile Ji hyun. I'm not going to make it out alive." She said while crying.
"No mom. Please, I beg you please don't die"
(Crying) "no my son I don't think I am going to live but I am sorry to leave you behind like this. Please forgive me Ji hyun."
"shut up mom, I said I am going to protect at least you so please for god's sake don't lose hope."
(he thought to himself) "oh god! I will never ask you for anything but please don't take my mother from me…"
Using all his power and reach he was able to open the door. He got a hope that he will be able to save his mom.
"Mom look! I opened the door. I am going to save you"
"...."
"mom? Why are you not answering?"
But to his demise it has been too late for saving his mother. She was dead. No god has listened to his prayer. No one helped him. As the flames engulfed the room, he just sat crying while hugging his mother's face in his arms.
