The place Ryan took Winter was the W Hotel, where the welcome party for Snow Law's new lawyers had been held.
Winter followed Ryan into the French restaurant on the top floor of the hotel. It was a place she had seen several times on her law school classmates' social media.
The restaurant was famous for its luxurious atmosphere, lavish interior, extravagant food, and incredibly high prices. It was also known for requiring reservations months in advance, with long waiting lists.
Winter's classmates would proudly post pictures of each dish on social media. While Winter found such behavior a bit silly, she was also envious. The high prices alone made her hesitant even to consider visiting such a place.
Yet Ryan walked into the restaurant as casually as if it were his regular neighborhood diner.
"Wow..." Winter let out a small gasp as they entered the spacious hall.
