The male and female lawyers whispered quietly while glancing towards Winter. Overhearing their words, Winter hesitated as she was about to sit down.
Could they be talking about me? Winter wondered, tilting her head. The two had already put on poker faces and were looking at their records.
Winter had no choice but to sit down.
As Winter opened her laptop and started reviewing the case files, the two people sitting across from her began whispering again. Unlike before, they didn't seem to be trying to lower their voices.
The two continued their conversation with frowning faces.
"Ugh, there's literally no evidence for this case, and it's obvious we're going to lose in the end. Even if it's his sister, why did Attorney Kang bring such a troublesome case and put us in a difficult position?"
