Ellie's neck flushed lightly with embarrassment. Simon sank his teeth into that neck while checking the phone discarded in the back seat.
The other party had hung up.
Thinking about the man who must have ended the call while hearing moans on a call he made to ask for a date, Simon felt a slight sense of victory.
Simon grabbed Ellie's arm, which was hitting his shoulder as if asking to be released, and kissed her more deeply. As he entwined her tongue that kept trying to escape, he stroked her head soothingly.
