The Meeting of Heroes
The air in the underground meeting room of Might Tower was thick with tension. Fifty heroes, gathered from all walks of life, sat around the massive circular table. Whispers and side glances passed between them until the silence was broken by Endeavor.
He crossed his arms, his fiery gaze locked on All Might. "Why did you call us all here on such short notice, All Might?" he asked, his voice laced with disdain.
All Might sighed, raising a hand to signal Sir Nighteye, who was already prepared. Without a word, Nighteye began distributing folders to each hero in the room.
Curiosity gave way to shock as the heroes flipped through the pages. Some skimmed the documents quickly; others read each line with growing horror. The evidence laid bare the HPSC's darkest secrets: assassinations of dissenting heroes, manipulation of public perception, and ruthless measures to maintain their grip on society.
One hero, visibly trembling, whispered, "They killed heroes... How could they?"
Endeavor, despite his rivalry with All Might, looked shaken as he stared at the damning evidence. His brow furrowed deeply, his hand gripping the edge of the table tightly enough to leave marks.
Gran Torino sat quietly, his head bowed. "I've been around long enough to know corruption exists," he muttered, "but I didn't see this coming... I should have."
All Might's Plan
The room descended into murmurs until All Might stood, his towering presence commanding attention.
"I called you all here because the HPSC knows about my actions against them," he began, his voice steady and resolute. "I have every reason to believe they're planning something big—something designed to neutralize me and clean up their mess. I need you all to be ready to act if I'm not around."
Endeavor narrowed his eyes. "What do you mean by 'not around'? What exactly are you planning?"
All Might met his gaze. "I've prepared this evidence to be spread publicly at a moment's notice. If I'm incapacitated or worse, I want you all to act. You will arrest the HPSC leadership and ensure justice is served."
The room erupted into shocked exclamations, but All Might raised a hand for silence.
"The truth is, they may try to kill me," he said bluntly. His words sent ripples of unease through the room, but none of the heroes could deny the possibility.
"If they succeed, you must ensure that their corruption is exposed," he continued. "We must be ready to protect the people from the fallout. That's why I need your cooperation. I want everyone's contact information. We'll create a group to coordinate and act quickly if the need arises."
One by one, the heroes nodded, determination replacing fear on their faces. Each of them understood the gravity of the situation. They had to be ready to act, no matter what came next.
The Aftermath
As the meeting concluded, the heroes left one by one, their expressions grim but resolute. Endeavor lingered for a moment, his fiery aura dimmed as he glanced at All Might. Despite their rivalry, there was a glimmer of respect in his eyes.
"I still think you're reckless," he said, his voice low. "But if it's for the people... I'll do my part."
All Might nodded. "Thank you, Endeavor."
As the room emptied, only four people remained: Gran Torino, Sir Nighteye, Lady Nagant, and All Might.
Gran Torino was the first to speak. "I hope you know what you're doing, Toshinori."
All Might nodded, his expression serious. "I do."
Gran Torino and Nighteye exchanged a look before leaving, leaving only Nagant and All Might in the quiet room.
A Pledge Between Allies
Nagant sighed, leaning against the back of her chair. "So, I guess this is it, huh?"
All Might nodded. "Yes. We need to be ready for whatever comes next."
She hesitated, then spoke with newfound resolve. "When the time comes, I'll go with them. I'll help take down the HPSC."
All Might studied her for a moment, knowing how much guilt she carried from her time as their enforcer. "Are you sure?"
She nodded firmly. "Let me help. I need to do this."
"All right," All Might said, offering her a small smile. "But if we're working together, call me Toshinori. Toshinori Yagi is my real name."
Nagant blinked in surprise before a faint smile crept onto her face. "Kaina," she said. "Kaina Tsutsumi is mine."
They exchanged a brief nod of understanding before Kaina left the room, leaving All Might alone with his thoughts.
This is the beginning, he thought, his resolve hardening.
The HPSC's Desperation
In the HPSC headquarters, the president sat behind his desk, his face contorted with rage. Across from him, Dr. Garaki's voice crackled through the speakerphone.
"All For One?" the president asked, his voice trembling slightly.
"Yes," came the smooth, chilling reply. "It's me."
"We need your help," the president said, swallowing his pride. "To get rid of All Might."
There was a brief silence before All For One's voice returned, tinged with amusement. "You're willing to team up with me to kill your greatest hero? How delightful."
The president's desperation outweighed his shame. "Yes."
"Very well," All For One said, his tone almost mocking. "I'll contact you in a few days when the time is right."
As the call ended, All For One leaned back on his couch, a sinister grin spreading across his face.
"How hilarious," he said, chuckling darkly. "All Might, your own side wants you dead."
Behind him, Dr. Garaki shifted nervously.
All For One's grin widened as he turned his attention to Garaki. "Get the Nomus ready," he commanded. "We're going to unleash hell on earth."
The chapter ended with the chilling promise of chaos, as All Might's enemies—both seen and unseen—began to close in.
