The Call That Changes Everything
Morning sunlight seeped through the curtains of All Might's room as the shrill ringing of his phone jolted him awake. Groggily, he reached over, glancing at the caller ID. His brows furrowed when he saw the name: HPSC.
With a grim expression, he answered. "This is All Might."
The voice on the other end was calm and professional, but there was an undercurrent of urgency. "All Might, we've tracked down the location of All For One."
All Might's breath hitched. "Where is he?"
The employee continued, "He's on a remote island. We've sent you the coordinates. We need you to deal with him."
Before All Might could respond, the call ended. He stared at the phone in his hand, a whirlwind of thoughts racing through his mind. Really, HPSC? Teaming with All For One just to eliminate me? You've sunk lower than I ever imagined.
Standing, he steeled himself and dressed quickly in his hero costume. His mind was made up. This ends now.
Rallying the Heroes
Before leaving, All Might opened the hero group chat and typed:
The HPSC is teaming with All For One to take care of me. They've sent me his location. I'm going to face him. It's time we strike.
The chat erupted instantly:
What?!
OMG.
Do you need backup?
Stay safe, All Might!
The messages blurred together as the door to his room suddenly slammed open.
Lady Nagant stood in the doorway, trembling. "Is it true?" she asked, her voice shaky. "You're going to fight All For One?"
"Yes," All Might confirmed.
Before he could say more, she ran to him, wrapping her arms around him in a tight embrace. "Please, Toshinori... be safe."
All Might hesitated for a moment, then gently patted her back. "Don't worry. I will be."
As they separated, he called Sir Nighteye. The phone barely rang before Nighteye answered, his voice heavy with concern. "Is it true?"
"It is," All Might replied simply. "Nighteye, I want you to release all the evidence against the HPSC as soon as I leave. Make sure the heroes are ready to act. Arrest them all."
"Understood," Nighteye said, though his voice trembled slightly.
The call ended, and All Might made his way to the rooftop of Might Tower, where a helicopter awaited him.
Goodbyes
As he approached the helicopter, a familiar chorus of voices called out to him.
"All Might!"
He turned to see Lady Nagant, Nana's family, Gran Torino, and Sir Nighteye standing together. His heart clenched at the sight.
Before he could say anything, Tenko and Hana sprinted toward him, clinging to his leg.
"Please be safe, Uncle Might," Hana pleaded, her small hands clutching his cape.
All Might knelt, ruffling both their heads. "Don't worry. I will be."
The adults stepped forward next. Nao, Kotaro, and the grandparents gave him words of encouragement, their faces filled with concern.
Gran Torino approached, placing a firm hand on All Might's shoulder. "I'm proud of you, Toshinori. You've come a long way. Now go beat that ugly bastard."
Nighteye adjusted his glasses, nodding solemnly. "Good luck."
Lady Nagant was the last to step forward. She hugged him again, her voice barely a whisper. "I hope you know what you're doing."
All Might smiled. "I do."
As he stepped into the helicopter, he looked at the group one last time, committing their faces to memory. The helicopter doors closed, and it began to ascend.
Lightening the Mood
On the rooftop, the remaining group watched as the helicopter disappeared into the distance. The silence was heavy until Gran Torino spoke, a smirk on his face. "So, you and All Might, huh?"
Lady Nagant's face flushed crimson. "It's nothing like that!" she stammered.
The adults chuckled, while Tenko and Hana exchanged confused looks. "What do they mean?" Hana asked.
Along the Way
Inside the helicopter, All Might leaned back, staring out at the horizon. As the morning stretched into afternoon and then evening, his thoughts churned. This is it. The end of the road.
Suddenly, his phone rang. He glanced at the caller ID. "Nagant?"
He answered. "What's wrong?"
On the other end, her voice was urgent. "Toshinori, after you left, we revealed the information to the public. But those creatures—the ones Endeavor fought last week—there are multiple of them wreaking havoc on the streets!"
All Might's heart sank. "Are you safe?"
"Yes," she assured him. "I'm helping the other heroes deal with them. We were able to respond quickly since you warned us to be ready for anything."
All Might let out a sigh of relief. "Good. Also, tell the other heroes—those creatures aren't human. They can kill without hesitation."
Nagant's gasp was audible. "What? How do you know?"
"I just do," All Might said firmly. "Be careful."
"What about Endeavor?" he asked.
"He's on his way to the HPSC building with a group of officers," Nagant said. "He'll handle things there."
"Good," All Might said. "Thank you, Kaina."
"Don't worry about us," she replied. "Go beat that ugly bastard's face in."
All Might chuckled. "I will. Thank you."
The call ended as the helicopter began to descend. In the distance, the remote island came into view, its dark silhouette ominous against the orange hues of the setting sun.
All Might clenched his fists, his resolve unshaken. This ends here.
The chapter ended with the helicopter touching down on the island, the sound of its rotors echoing into the night. All Might stepped out, his cape billowing in the wind, as he prepared to face his greatest enemy.
