Annie had followed up on the aftermath of the incident at Bennie's,Kev had been arrested and she was there in court to confirm,if it was that animal indeed.From then on things had taken a different path just after some few months.First,she had disappointed her parents,then few months later she hit a huge snag,she was pregnant,a few more months later, her once good relationship with her parents had detoriated so bad that her father,her sole sponser had cut her off.She was lost,all those years,for what?She had wasted her time her energy for what?For a man to burn her into ashes?No,not her,she was a phoenix,she was going to rise from the ashes and her vengence built her into a monster.She was not sure of what she would do with the child,but she knew what she could do to Kev.She had to wait,seven years looked like alot,but she was going to use that to sharpen her edges.She had to find a job,something to stand on,she had to find a house,something to contain her.She got to work,find work.Wait.Pounce.
Kev had never before found himself in jail,despite the fact that indeed he was a criminal,for once he felt kind of naked.The environment had changed,his previlages had changed and he was nolonger ontop of the food chain,if anything he had became the food,it was just a matter of time before he would find himself being served.He was good at adapting to new environment but this was strange because,for once he was afraid of the unknown,he had fought with lots of strong as an enforcer for Big Father,he had scars,but one thing he had never fought was xenophobia.Kev was also worried about Big Father,he was supposed to be there all through the steps.But Big Father had missed every single scene.But on the othe side,Jacob was ready to capitalize,he had made plans for Kev,the moment he stepped foot in jail.First they were going to be cellmates,he had arranged for kev to be his cell buddy,secondly Kev was off limits he had paid the guards and all other prisoners who could pose a threat to him.There were plenty,other rival gangs who had scores to settle could have a good reason to go after him.But things had worked as he expected.Jacob had found the list,it had got to him,he knew the go between would not be safe,he had tried but he had no guarantees.But what mattered to him was the the list,it was juicy,the names on the list had everyone he wanted.Crimes Control Department heads were written all over the place,the mayor,rival gang leaders and ofcourse the police had to be in it.He had a plan,Kev would be the that rabbit,whose tail would be set on fire and sent running into a dry grassland,his escape would burn everything,if he created a fictious blacklist everyone would go for it,and he needed someone strong like Kev,someone resillient who would take as many people with him as possible.The less players of the board the high advantage he had of taking control of the top.Ofcourse Big Father and most of his stronghold were out of the picture things were working out well for Jacob.However deep in the river, Big Father had survived and he had been pulled out of the river by Jerry.He was not the smartest of all but he had noticed things happening in a way they were not supposed to,first it was Kev's arrest that had aroused his suspicion,then while at the party he had heard of a strange quietness around the bridge which was way unusual.And while he had gone to confirm the first suspicion,he was caught up in a dilemma either save Big Father or save Kev,because on his way he met police patrol car,also from his position at the riverbank he could not have saved Big Father without making his presence be known.He watched as the events unfolded and the huge truck had smashed onto Big Fathers vehicle and veering of into the river.To him this had to be Kev's doing.The planning was too good to be played by anyone else apart from him.Otherwise why would he be arrested now?what was he running away from?He had watched as the vehicle crashed into the river,sending pieces of glass and metal into the river,before floating for a while then slowly,it started to be submerged by water,no of the occupants made any movement.But as soon as the vehicle approached the rapids,which would have surely sunk it at one go and send it into the murky,deep,dark riverbed,he saw a movement one of the occupants had freed himself,and was struggling so much to swim against the tide towards the reeds at the riverbank,Jerry rushed in that direction without splashing water around him he had to be as smooth as possible,because way up on the bridge the car's movement was still being tracked,fortunately the river had come to a bend,making it difficult to see it entirety whilst on the bridge.He reached the dense reeds and waited for the sole survivor ro be washed up tiwards him.He had to time his next move to perfection because one slip and no survivor.But his gamble paid off he grabbed an arm just at the right time and it turned out to be no one else other than Big Father.Back at the bridge,there were some repairs done just moments after the,the rusty metallic rails that had been taken out the crash was being replaced.And it was so precise that only few rails were knocked out.After that the road was rid of any evidence that indicated any signs of a crash.And it was being done at a proffessional level quick and efficient.And after this team had cleared Kev was whisked away through the same bridge by three police cars and also a taxi had passed right before them.Jerry saw all these and it indicated only one thing Kev was part of it.His arrest was just part of the plan to cover his tracks,but Jerry took it upon himself,he will be the one to avenge Big Father,because to him he was more than just a street father,he was his biological father.
