At the Senior Director's Office...
"So, how was your weekend?" Lynn asked.
"It was fine, Sir," Kyla replied.
"I didn't see you leave that night," he added casually.
"Alright. Where's the document I asked you to prepare?"
"Here it is, Sir," she said, handing him the file containing the document.
"Thank you. You can leave," Lynn said.
Kyla nodded and left the office.

Team Meeting...
Lynn was addressing his team during a meeting.
"Alright, great team. I have a project plan. I'm not sure if it's going to be feasible, but I want us to give it a try," he began.
"I want us to create a cosmetic product that serves two different purposes simultaneously. For example, something that works as both eyeshadow and lipstick, or some other combination. I want it to be unique—something that has never been seen in the cosmetic market before. I think people will love the idea of a single product with dual functionality because it's economical. They won't have to buy the items separately, which saves money."
He pointed to the projector and turned it on.
"This is a rough sketch of the canvas I prepared. We haven't decided what we'll create yet, but this is the concept. What do you think?"

After the Meeting...
"Sir, your plan is excellent. It's innovative and unique. I'm sure people will love it," Kyla said after the meeting. She was genuinely impressed by the idea.
"Thank you," Lynn replied, chuckling. "But why didn't you say this during the meeting?"
Before Kyla could respond, he continued, "Well, I want you to be in charge of the project."
"Me?" Kyla asked, surprised.
"Yes, you. I know your major while you were in the University, was cosmetology, so I'm confident you'll do a great job. Good luck," Lynn said with a smile.

At Kyla's Apartment..
"Wow! This is huge. Congrats, boo," Vanessa exclaimed excitedly.
"Thanks, love," Kyla replied.
"Your proposal—have you started preparing it? When's the project due?"
"Hmm… I think it's due in about two months during the company's anniversary party. Gosh, I have to start organizing everything. There's no time left!"
"Yeah, girl. But enough of that. Did you hear? RDY is coming to New Rednell for a fan meet-and-greet," Vanessa said, changing the subject.
Kyla's face lit up. They were her all-time favorite K-pop stars.
"You mean my favorite K-pop stars are coming to this city? I'm not going to miss it!" Kyla squealed, jumping in excitement.
Vanessa laughed. "You're too funny. Anyway, who's in the mood for movie night?"
Dora, who had been busy in the kitchen setting up dinner, walked in and asked.

At the Club...
Kyla and Vanessa were at the entrance of a club in New Rednell. Kyla wore a red slit gown, while Vanessa was dressed in a pink top and jean shorts. Kyla hesitated, while Vanessa was eager to go inside.
"You dragged me out here. I told you I'm taking a break from clubbing. After everything that's happened, I don't want to repeat the same mistake. I definitely don't want to run into my boss at a club again," Kyla protested.
"Oh, come on! I looked this place up online. It's different from the one we went to before. It's far enough that you won't run into anyone you know. I promise," Vanessa said, dragging Kyla inside.

Inside The Club...
Lynn and his friend Troy were at the club. Lynn spotted Kyla as she walked in.
"Kyla?" Lynn exclaimed.
"Kyla? Who's Kyla?" Troy asked.
"My secretary—the one I told you about. I'm going to say hi and maybe buy her a drink."
"Oh, the one in red. I see."
"Yes. Isn't she wonderful?" Lynn said, smiling brightly.
"I'm going over to talk to her," Lynn added, walking toward Kyla.
"Hi," he said when he reached her.
Kyla was surprised. "He-Hello, Sir."
"No need for formalities, Kyla. We're not at the office," Lynn said warmly.
"Troy, meet Kyla, my secretary. Kyla, this is Troy, my friend," Lynn introduced them.
"Nice to meet you," Troy said as they exchanged pleasantries.
"Vanessa, this is Mr. Damon, my boss. Mr. Damon, this is Vanessa, my friend," Kyla introduced.
"Oh, wow. It's a pleasure to meet you," Vanessa said, shaking Lynn's hand.
"The pleasure is mine," Lynn replied politely.
"Well, drinks are on me tonight, ladies. Feel free to enjoy yourselves," Lynn said generously.

At Kyla's Apartment...
Kyla and Vanessa were in the living room watching the latest episode of their favorite K-drama, The Heavenly Idol.
"So, your boss…"
"What about him?" Kyla asked.
"Do you have his number? I need to tell him something. I like his friend," Vanessa teased.
"Fool! I'm not giving you anyone's number," Kyla replied, laughing.
They both burst into laughter.

At Lynn's Spot...
Lynn and Troy were at their usual evening hangout.
"Did you see that ass-et?" Troy asked.
"Asset? What asset?" Lynn asked, confused.
"It was m-ass-ive," Troy joked.
"Man, what are you saying? Your brain is full of weird thoughts," Lynn replied, laughing.
"That asset will be mine soon enough. My charm is irresistible," Troy said confidently.
"Stop bluffing. Have you looked in the mirror lately? You couldn't even make a fly fall for you," Lynn shot back.

Saturday Morning...
The weekend dawned with the smell of morning dew. Kyla dragged herself out of bed, popped a couple of hangover pills, and sipped tea. She tied her hair into two rough cornrows, threw on joggers and a polo, and headed out for a quick jog.
"You look like a scarecrow," Vanessa teased as Kyla returned.
"Thank you," Kyla replied with a tired smile.
"Breakfast?" Vanessa asked.
"Yes, please."
"Toasted bread and scrambled eggs?"
"Sure," Kyla replied as Vanessa headed to the kitchen.
"On it, sweets," Vanessa said with a smile.

Back At The Office...
Later, Kyla was in Lynn's office as instructed.
"Miss Samuels, the meeting for the project plan and implementation is on Thursday. I hope you're ready?" Lynn asked.
"Yes, Sir," Kyla replied.
"Good. Can I have a look at the plan? The CEO will be present at the meeting, so everything needs to go smoothly. I trust you understand?"
"I do, Sir. Please excuse me; my laptop is in my office," Kyla said and left to retrieve it.
When she returned, she showed him the plan.
"Impressive! I love it," Lynn said, clearly amazed.
"You mean you came up with this? Wonderful! Kyla, I want you to present it confidently at the meeting. You did an excellent job, and I'm proud of your work."
