RDY's Arrival
Kyla got home some minutes past 7 p.m. As soon as she entered the house, she reheated her already cooked dinner and went to the bathroom for a bath.
While she was in the bathroom, her phone started ringing. However, she didn't hear it because the sound of the shower she was using had overshadowed the ringing tone, and her phone was in the bedroom.
When Kyla was done bathing, She dried herself with a towel, applied lotion on her body, and changed into her pajamas.
On her way out of the room, She took her phone from her bag and walked out. She headed to the kitchen to collect the food she had heated in the oven.
She sat in the dining area to eat and placed her phone on the table beside her. As She was eating, She picked up her phone with her left hand and pressed the power button. That was when she finally noticed the missed calls.
The calls were from Vanessa. Without hesitation, she dialed Vanessa's number.
Vanessa answered after a few seconds.
"Hi! Where were you when I called earlier? Don't tell me you're still at the office," Vanessa teased.
"Don't tell me you are not coming home today! Where the hell are you, Nessa? It's already past 8 p.m.," Kyla replied, teasing back at Vanessa, with a hint of concern.
"I'm on my way. I'll be home soon," Vanessa assured her.
"How soon is this 'soon' girlie?"
"Before 10 p.m."
"Hmm, please let it be...And don't forget about our appointment tomorrow," Kyla reminded her before ending the call.

The next day was the weekend, and it was an exciting Saturday for Kyla. Her favorite K-pop group, RDY, was coming to the city for a concert! She had been looking forward to that moment for months.
At exactly 6 a.m., Kyla's alarm tone rang, waking her from sleep. Realizing what day it was, She swiftly got out of bed, ready to prepare for the exciting day ahead.
Looking over at Vanessa, Kyla noticed that her friend was still fast asleep. She gently tapped Vanessa's shoulder, but She received no response or movement from her. Kyla rolled her eyes and tapped her again, this time more harder.
Vanessa groaned and turned over, clearly reluctant to wake up.
"Missy, we have an eventful day ahead. Get up and go take a bath" Kyla urged.
"What time is it?" Vanessa mumbled, rubbing her eyes.
"It's 6:29 a.m."
"Oh my gosh!" Vanessa exclaimed, jumping out of bed. She exited the room and ran into the bathroom.
Kyla chuckled at Vanessa's sudden display of energy and headed to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for both of them.
She switched on the toaster and brewed some coffee, making a quick meal of toasted bread and hot cups of coffee.
By the time Vanessa returned from the bathroom, the aroma of their breakfast had filled the house.
After eating and finishing up with their house chores, the duo headed out to officially begin their day.

Their first stop was a beauty salon. They wanted to look their absolute best for the concert.
The salon visit took longer than they had expected, with both girls getting their hair styled, lashes fixed, and nails done.
After about six hours, the beautician was finally done. The girls eased a sigh of relief. They admired their glamorous looks in the mirror before leaving the salon.
Next on their list was a quick stop at the laundry. It was to pick up Kyla's concert outfit, which she had dropped off earlier that week.
With the errands now completed, they took a taxi back home and arrived there at around past 2 p.m.

The concert was scheduled for 5 p.m., leaving them with less than two hours to freshen up and get ready.
Vanessa reheated the pizza they had picked up on their way home. After freshing up, They sat on the sofa and repeatedly ate slices of the pizza till it got finished.
By 4:00 p.m., They were already dressed and ready to leave. With their concert tickets in hand, Kyla and Vanessa left the house.
The concert venue was only 15 minutes away from their house; They wanted to arrive there on time, to secure good seats and soak themselves in the pre-concert and concert atmosphere.

The concert venue was buzzing with excitement. Several Fans of RDY were seen all over the place: dressed beautifully, holding banners, and chatting eagerly about the Kpop group. It was a sight to behold.
Kyla and Vanessa joined the growing crowd, their anticipation increased as time for the concert drew near.
When Kyla and Vanessa got inside, they found their seats and sat down.
At exactly 5:15pm, the lights in the room started to become dim; Fully aware of what that signified, cheers from the crowd filled the atmosphere and the opening ceremony began.
Kyla's excitement made her heart race so much; it was finally happening.
After the opening ceremony, the stage suddenly went dark, for a brief moment. Then, the screen lit up, and RDY's introduction video began to play.
Immediately the video finished playing, the Kpop group climbed the stage. The audience went wild as the members appeared on stage. Their first song performance was their hit single.
For the next two hours, Kyla and Vanessa sang along: word for word, waved light sticks, and cheered until they lost almost all their voices.
RDY performed a mix of their hit songs and tracks from their latest album, leaving the audience mesmerized.
As the end of the concert came close, RDY thanked their fans for their continuous support, promising to return soon.
The finale atmosphere was engrossed in display of light from the light sticks of fans and confetti, leaving everyone in awe.

On their way home, Kyla and Vanessa couldn't stop talking about their favorite moments from the concert. They relived every song, every dance move, and every word the members had said.
When they finally arrived home, exhausted but still amazed about the eventful concert, Kyla jumped up.
"Today was awesome," she said with a contented sigh.
Vanessa nodded. "It really was. RDY is the best thing that happened to us my friend!", They held hands, spinning round the room in excitement.
The two friends stayed up late, sat on the couch and scrolled through all the photos and videos they had taken during the concert.
The memories of the day were something they would cherish forever---getting to meet their favorite idols for the very first time.
As Kyla laid down to sleep that night, She wore a wide smile on her face. It was a day to be remembered forever, She looked forward to meeting RDY again.
