A man in black walked towards a door located at the left side of the hallway.The door had no key hole, something that was unusual.The man maintained a cold expression as he placed his right hand on the wall right beside the door.His palm print appeared on the wall and the door slowly opened,showing an elevator which was already opened.He entered and pressed some keys and the elevator moved downwards.When the elevator stopped,he got out and walked towards another door with a screen.He said some words which made the door open after a bing sound.He entered and appeared before another screen with a keypad,he punched in some words which appeared on the screen and then,a question was asked which he answered.
After answering some more questions,he was granted permission to enter an elevator that appeared on his right side.He arrived in a room,a space that would have been considered empty if not for the transparent case containing a book in it at the center and a table at the left corner of the room.He walked to the case and used his thumb print to open it.He took the book and walked towards the table with a solemn look in his eyes.
He knew the key to open the book after an intense search by his men.He opened it but what he saw was an empty page.He flipped and the next page was also empty.He frowned but did not get angry easily.He opened the pages one by one till he reached the middle page and saw a micro SD card.He took it and sighed.This was the key to the truth.Maybe the book was known as the 'devil's ledger' but could it be that it was just a carrier?He thought and decisively made a decision.He had come this far for the truth and he was not giving up.He'd find it."I'd give the book to Kyle.I already have what I need."He said coldly to himself and turned to leave.
He was looking forward to the truth.That was the main reason why he did his best to get the 'devil's ledger',not to be more powerful like others thought.The truth hurts and he was ready for it but when he finds out what the truth is,would he be able to stand it and continue to be emotionless like he is now?

Kelly got dressed quickly because of Manroe's sudden call.He said he wanted to meet her and he will be at her place soon.The reason he chose her place was very simple,he did not want anyone to listen to their conversation.He wanted to keep it confidential.
"Come on in."Kelly said to Manroe who had arrived at her place after she finished what she had to do.She was not going to work to do.He smiled at her and entered."Want anything?"She asked after he relaxed in his seat."My usual."He said and she quickly went to get him what he usually had when he came to her place."Thanks."He said and took what she handed over to him.They reminisced and talked of some good past memories.
After some time,Manroe said,"so about the case",he paused and looked at her,trying to pry into her emotions."Yes the case,any other news?"Kelly asked with a look of expectation.Manroe nodded and held her hand.He said,"promise me you are not going to hide anything from me,Kel."She looked at him and nodded in the affirmative with a smile,"I promise."He let go off her hand and continued saying,"there has been progress and what you gave me helped a lot.It is also the main reason why I am here."She looked at him and guessed what he was here for.She sighed but she knew she couldn't keep everything to herself for long.The truth always came to light.
"Kelly that cufflink had digits,like a serial number.Also one thing I'm sure of is that the person behind the murder is known as the serial killer."He said and told her everything about her father's murder case and the murder case site he went to last time.She nodded as she listened to his account."I will tell everything I know now Roe."She said and smiled faintly.
