The cabin was very much silent except for the quiet sound of the fire. Sophie sat on the side of the bed, her hands was now trembling as she held the blanket.
Her dreams the night before had been very clear and not even settling, glowing eyes in the darkness, whispers she could not even understand.
She looked towards the window.
"Sophie."
She jumped at the sound of Darius's voice. He was standing in the door way, his expression was as unreadable as before.
"You are awake," he said, stepping into the room.
"Barely, the sleep is much of a break when you are even having nightmares." she muttered, running a hand through her hair.
His brows was furrowed as he crossed his arms.
"Nightmares?"
"Yeah, about glowing eyes and... something now whispering. It felt so real."
"What did the whispers say?"
