Sophie paced near the cabin door, her thoughts was really restless. Darius had left her alone some hours ago, insisting he needed to check the area.
Despite his assurances again and again, disturbed was settled in her chest like a hard stone.
She froze when she heard the faint sound of leaves echoed from the woods.
Her pulse was very fast as her eyes looked towards the sound. The forest was very dark.
"Darius?" she called, her voice was now barely above a whisper.

She clenched her fists, her nails was in her palms.
"This is ridiculous, he said it was really safe here." she muttered to herself.
A low growl was heard from the trees, really sending a cold chill down her spine.
