Time flew by and soon it was dinner time. Madam Heidi had managed to clean me up before dinner starts. The salve could only do so much so Madam Heidi had to brush out my hair to hide out of the worst of the damage. She also did a heavy makeup which honestly didn't feel like me but perhaps maybe that was what I needed to be able to get through this dinner if I was going to be sitting around a table filled with men that who only saw what they wanted to say instead of searching deep inside to look for the truth.
I sat at the dining table, ignoring the whole forced laughter and words of congratulations that were being thrown to Reagan and I after my father announced news of our pregnancy to the entire hall, boasting about a Westward being able to carry a strong Hawthrone line.
