Daniel's POV
The second Sophie stormed out, the room fell into dead silence.
Mia wiped her tears, looking between me and the door. Hannah folded her arms, shaking her head like she was disappointed but not surprised.
I exhaled sharply, rubbing my temples. "What the hell just happened?"
Hannah let out a dry laugh. "You tell me, lover boy."
I glared at her. "Cut the crap, Hannah."
She smirked. "Oh, I'm serious. First, you're all over Mia, hugging her like she's your woman, and now Sophie calls you a cheat and storms out? Sounds like a 'lover boy' problem to me."
Mia shifted awkwardly, stepping back. "This isn't about me," she muttered.
"No, it's not," I said, pinching the bridge of my nose. "It's about Sophie acting like I betrayed her when she was the one who left me."
Mia cleared her throat. "Maybe… she's just overwhelmed. You two have history, and seeing you with someone else might have triggered something."
