For me, it's fine, I've never seen the outside world, so I don't know what it's like. But my mother, she often sighs alone and cries in secret..." Xiaoxue seemed sad, her lips pouting.
"I see... And those two corpses sitting there, who are they then?" Wu Fan asked, increasingly curious and eager to know.
"Oh, I've never seen them alive. My mother told me they were already dead before I was born. They were her masters, apparently."
"Your masters? What did your mother learn to have masters?"

"Great! My mother says the outside world is huge. I really want to see it. You're really awesome!" Xiaoxue said, suddenly snuggling against Wu Fan, their bodies pressed closely together.
Wu Fan felt a bit uncomfortable. He realized that Xiaoxue, having been born in this cave, knew nothing about relationships between men and women, but still, it made him feel uneasy.
He gently pushed her away and smiled, "Xiaoxue, tell me, when you and your mother appeared earlier, you looked like ghosts, you didn't even have a torch. Can you see in the dark?"
"Yes, we can see. My mother says she has gotten used to the darkness. As for me, I was born in the dark, and I've never seen bright light, except for my mother's fire. So, I'm very comfortable in the dark!"
"And what do you eat here? Where do you sleep?" Wu Fan looked around, perplexed.
"Oh, there's a large space over there. We have green vegetables and wild rabbits, so we eat well. We even made beds with vines, it's quite comfortable. But my mother says your bones are too damaged, so you have to sleep on the flat ground for now. When you feel better, we can sleep together every day, okay?" Xiaoxue, all excited, grabbed Wu Fan's hand.
"Okay, okay!" Wu Fan, embarrassed, felt his body heat up.
Although he was technically married to Lin Miao, they had only shared a bed on their wedding day. Outside of that day, she said she was already carrying his child, but he didn't even remember holding her hand. He had always slept on the ground.
Being this close to a young woman naturally made forbidden thoughts stir within him.
