Chapter 20: Building a Life Together
As they returned from their honeymoon, Alex and Michael were eager to start building a life together. They settled into a beautiful new home, a cozy little house with a big backyard and a white picket fence.
Alex started her own business, a successful interior design firm, while Michael continued to work as a lawyer. They spent their evenings cooking dinner together, watching movies, and just enjoying each other's company.
As the months went by, Alex and Michael's love for each other only grew stronger. They were each other's rock, supporting and encouraging each other through all of life's ups and downs.
One day, as they were cuddled up on the couch, Michael turned to Alex and said, "You know what would make our life together perfect?"
Alex looked at him curiously. "What's that?" she asked.
Michael smiled. "A baby," he said. "I've always wanted to be a father, and I couldn't imagine having children with anyone else."
Alex's heart skipped a beat. She had always wanted to be a mother, and the thought of having a child with Michael was almost too exciting to bear.
"I'd love to have a baby with you," she said, smiling up at him.
Michael grinned and wrapped his arms around her. "I'm so happy," he said. "We're going to be amazing parents."
As they hugged, Alex knew that she and Michael were ready for whatever the future held. They were in love, and they were ready to build a life together.
Chapter 21: The Betrayal
Alex and Michael's life together seemed perfect. They had a beautiful home, successful careers, and a loving relationship.
But beneath the surface, tensions were brewing. Natasha, Alex's sister, had always been jealous of Alex's success and happiness.

Alex had been noticing that Michael had been acting strange lately. He had been distant and preoccupied, and Alex couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong.

Michael looked guilty, and Alex knew that she was right. "How could you do this to me?" she asked, tears streaming down her face.
Michael tried to apologize again, but Alex just turned and walked away. She didn't know if she could ever forgive him for what he had done.
As for Natasha, she just smiled to herself. Her plan had worked perfectly. She had destroyed Alex's relationship, and now she could move in for the kill.
