Chapter 23: The Aftermath
Alex was devastated by Michael's infidelity. She didn't know how she could ever trust him again.
As she packed her bags and left the house, Alex couldn't help but wonder how things had gone so wrong. She had thought that she and Michael had a perfect relationship, but now she realized that she had been blind to his flaws.
Meanwhile, Natasha was gloating over her success. She had destroyed Alex's relationship, and now she could move in for the kill.
But as she watched Alex leave the house, Natasha couldn't shake the feeling that she had gone too far. She had never meant to hurt Alex so badly, and now she was starting to feel guilty.
As the days went by, Alex struggled to come to terms with what had happened. She didn't know how she could ever forgive Michael for his betrayal, and she wasn't sure if she wanted to.
But as she looked back on their relationship, Alex realized that there had been warning signs. Michael had always been a bit of a flirt, and he had never been very good at hiding his true feelings.
In the end, Alex decided that she was better off without Michael. She deserved someone who would love and respect her, and she wasn't going to settle for anything less.
.Chapter 24: The Return Home
Alex walked for hours, trying to clear her head and process everything that had happened. She felt lost and alone, and she didn't know where to turn.
Just as she was starting to feel like she couldn't go any further, Alex heard a familiar voice calling out to her.
"Alex! Alex, is that you?"
Alex turned to see her brother Lucas running towards her, a look of concern on his face.
"Lucas!" Alex exclaimed, feeling a wave of relief wash over her. "What are you doing here?"
"I've been looking all over for you," Lucas replied, wrapping his arms around Alex in a tight hug. "I knew something was wrong when you didn't answer my calls. What happened?"
Alex hesitated, unsure of how to explain everything that had happened. But as she looked into Lucas's concerned face, she knew that she could trust him.
"It's Michael," she said, feeling a lump form in her throat. "He cheated on me. And to make matters worse, it was with Natasha."
Lucas's face darkened with anger. "That bastard," he muttered. "I'll kill him."
Alex placed a hand on Lucas's arm, calming him down. "No, Lucas. I don't want you to do anything. I just want to go home and forget about everything that's happened."
Lucas nodded, putting his arm around Alex's shoulders. "Okay, sis. Let's go home."
As they walked, Alex felt a sense of relief wash over her. She was glad to be going home, and she was grateful to have Lucas by her side.
