Two weeks had passed, and not much had happened on the academic front. However, Chase had grown closer to several people during this time. He often spent time in Lila's office, whether to talk, nap, or do nothing at all while Diana was at practice. He had also gotten closer to Isaac, who wasn't bad to be around most of the time, though his boundless energy and eagerness could be exhausting. Chase frequently found himself reminding Isaac to clean up after himself.
He had grown closer to Alice as well, primarily because of the time he spent in Diana's room. In fact, he hadn't even slept in his own bed yet, rarely visiting his dorm at all. Over the weekend, he and Diana decided to stay at his old apartment instead of the dorms, preferring the comfort and familiarity it offered for reasons they both understood. After some convincing, Diana eventually resumed competing with him, though it had taken her three days to let her guard down.
