When I first started building the plot for this fanfiction, I didn't know exactly where it would go, but I knew I wanted to try something new with the world of shadow slave that I loved and the character of fang yuan I admired. Fanfiction is a way for fans, like me, to take characters and stories we care about and imagine new adventures, new feelings, or different outcomes. It's like taking a favorite movie or book and saying,"What if this happened instead?"

The original story I'm writing about is what if weaver didn't choose sunny but brought fang yuan into this magnificent world to stop the impending doom?

That's when the idea for my fanfiction took shape. I knew from the beginning that my version of the story wouldn't be exactly the same as the one written by guiltythree and fang yuan wont be exactly same as gu zhen ren wrote since many important items and plot structures have to be shifted to melt with my version of shadow slave and many obstacles will hammer fang yuans charector more in depth, and that's okay. Fanfiction isn't about copying everything the way it was—it's about building on the ideas, creating something new from what's already there. I wanted to explore new ideas while still staying true to the things that made the original so special.

In my story, the orignal characters might act a little differently or face challenges they didn't in the original. Some things may even happen that didn't in the original story at all. That's because fanfiction is my chance to stretch my imagination and add new layers to the world I've fallen in love with. If the characters are in the same world, then they're still the characters you know and love, but they might be seeing or doing things in a new way.
