*Zade*
The warmth from the shower still lingered on my skin as I tightened the dark jacket robe around me. My hair hung damp against my forehead, but I didn't care enough to dry it. The steam from the water had done little to ease the tension in my shoulders or the weight pressing on my mind. l was finally back at my kingdom.
I stood by the window of my chambers, staring out at the endless expanse of the Sky Kingdom, though I wasn't truly seeing it. My thoughts were far from here.
