Chapter 52 - On his mind

 Cedric spent the entire day outside, what was the point of a honeymoon if she was going to spend her time alone in the castle? Not that she was complaining at least with him away she didn't have to keep her guard up at all times.

 

 She had the notebook with her the entire day, she was followed everywhere. Cedric's people eyes were always on her and it felt like she was thrown into a labyrinth with no one to trust at all.

 

 She excused herself to the bedroom in the evening because she had to hide the notebook before at night when the maids would help her change her clothes and the only place she could have some privacy was in this bedroom when Cedric was not around.

 

 Abrielle opened the book and was confused as to why it was empty. Where was the so-called system now she needed it to explain some things to her. She sighed then fell back on the bed.
