Greece, Athens.
A few hours ago, Edmund met with the tomb raiders, they handed him several briefcases that contained ancient relics. Needless to say, they belonged to ancient Greek heroes.
Edmund loves Greek heroes, and he wasted no time in sparing no expense in obtaining them.
It was a bit expensive to pay for all the relics, but it was worth it. Edmund hired tomb raiders to find as many relics as they could.
They did not disappoint, in each briefcase, there were seven catalysts of heroic spirit, and being the first day, he received two briefcases.
-Not bad, for a good start.
Edmund calculated that he could increase the number of relics in his hand by at least three times. He could not wait patiently in the suite for the arrival of the other looters.
Or so Edmund thought, in fact he was happy with obtaining the catalysts, so much so that he took the trouble to stare at them all day like a child in the toy store.
The day passed quickly, making the moon rise in the starry sky. The next day most of the men arrived.
And again, Edmund received what was promised, two briefcases containing the relics.
The receipt was quick, after paying them the agreed sum, he went to the suite to open the briefcases and contemplate the relics.
He did the same process, until the next day. In the afternoon of the following day, the last looters came, giving him no less than three black briefcases, which inside housed several relics, and of course, they asked for a larger amount than agreed.
Edmund had no problem giving them more money than promised, the good thing is that he came prepared. He handed over two briefcases full of American money, in bundles of one hundred dollars. It was an alarming sum to anyone who saw it.
With a smile on their faces, they took the two briefcases of money and left. Edmund didn't comment, no matter if some of the relics were fakes or replicas, he already had more than twenty, he didn't care if one or two were fakes.
With the addition of the three briefcases, he calculated that he had no less than 40 relics. Never mind, it's better to be safe than sorry, Edmund thought.
The next day he left for England, he had to get back to the clock tower before Kayneth did something crazy like summoning Diarmuid.
He arrived on time, Waver had not yet stolen the relic, and Professor Kayneth had not yet judged him for the article Waver had sent him.
Since everything was in place, Edmund took a day off from the house. One bad moment, his sister Sola-Ui came to visit, although she is reserved in the eyes of others, for her brother it was the same.
Jaa.... Edmund thought that, as the younger brother, he was going to be coddled, but the opposite was true, Bram and Sola-UI treated him like any other wizard treats his family.
With a cold stare, Sola-Ui greeted Edmund.
Sola-Ui could not treat her younger brother normally, she resented him. As the last of the three, their father chose Edmund as his future successor.
The two brothers were angry, although they saw this as natural, that their father would choose Edmund for the quality and quantity of his magical circuits, but Bram did not.
Being the first of the three, Bram believed he would inherit the family crest of Sofia-Ri, but his family preferred to choose Edmund, the youngest of the three brothers.
As a spoiled son, he believed he would have everything at his fingertips, he believed it until his teenage years, that's when his younger brother took the reins of the family, making everyone see him as the next successor of the generation.
Bram was mad with anger, so much so that he couldn't look his little younger brother in the face. Sola-Ui, she did not have options, she did not stand out in any of the studies of magic because she did not have the family emblem, so she believed, she is not bad in those studies either, it could be said that she is in the "normal" field.
But as she descends from the Sofia-Ri family, she has a greater number of magical circuits than an average wizard, this made her family to engage her to Kayneth El-Melloi Archibald, with no other options, Sola-Ui had to resign herself with her engagement.
Edmund doesn't think much of it, he knows that magical families are always in conflict over succession, some even commit murder on their own siblings in order to inherit the family crest.
Standing still, Edmund watched as Sola-Ui disappeared.
Edmund didn't want any trouble. With a yawn, Edmund walked to his room to go to sleep.
- Why didn't I think of using the heirlooms that are kept in the family before...? - Being too late to ask, Edmund let it go.
He had forgotten that his family had a large number of catalysts in the vault, he had no choice, Edmund was no longer going to borrow, because he already had his own which he carefully stored in his closet.
-The three nights in Greece affected me, but I could not sleep for the excitement of having in my hands so many catalysts....
Very sleepy, Edmund slept all day, he could not bear his eyelids, they were too heavy for him to stay awake.
