Chapter 1 - Chapter 1:"The Concert Ticket Debacle"

Ava burst through the apartment door, her excitement evident in every step. "Yes! Finally, I got tickets to my favorite boy band's concert!" she announced, waving two tickets in the air. "I have two tickets, so who's coming with me to this magical, once-in-a-lifetime experience? You two can figure it out between yourselves, but I'm not giving up this ticket!"

Eesha and Hana exchanged glances, choosing to ignore Ava's enthusiastic declaration. Ava, however, was not one to be easily discouraged.

"Do you have any idea how hard it was to get these tickets? I practically had to beg that useless Peter to give me his, but I got them! Two tickets!" she said, twirling around in celebration. "So, have you two decided who's coming with me? Are you even listening to me, or are you just ignoring me?" Ava paused, waiting for a response that didn't come. "Eesha, you're coming, right?"

Eesha looked up from her book and replied calmly, "No, I'm not coming. Ask Hana."

Ava frowned, then turned her attention to Hana, who had her headphones on, completely absorbed in her studies. Without hesitation, Ava yanked the headphones off Hana's ears and asked, "Hana! Are you coming with me to the concert?"

Hana jumped, startled. "Are you crazy, Ava? Who shouts like that?"

Ava rolled her eyes. "I've been talking for ages, and neither of you is listening to me!"

Hana shook her head, returning to her calm demeanor. "I'm not going. I have work to do."

Ava, clearly not willing to take no for an answer, teased, "Work? did you get yourself a boyfriend or something?"

Hana, annoyed, snapped, "I don't have a boyfriend! I have an assignment to finish." Ava sighed with relief, "Thank God! That poor guy dodged a bullet by not becoming your boyfriend."

Hana narrowed her eyes, "What did you just say?"

Ava quickly replied, "Nothing! Are you coming with me or not?"

Hana crossed her arms and smirked, "Why don't you go with your *boyfriend* instead?"

Ava's face fell as she muttered, "Actually, we broke up... again."

Hana sighed. "Again? Ava, you've had more breakups than most people have relationships. Come on, don't look so sad."

Ava perked up quickly. "Fine, you're not going, but Eesha will come with me!" She turned to Eesha. "Come on, Eesha. You can't say no!"

Eesha shook her head, staying firm. "I said no, Ava. Every time we go somewhere, you do something embarrassing."

Ava pouted, her voice taking on a dramatic tone. "Please, just this once, come with me! I promise I won't do anything weird this time."

Eesha gave her a skeptical look. "No. I'm not going."

Ava, now pretending to be emotional, whined, "You never listen to me! You only ever listen to Hana. Fine, don't come. I'll just go by myself to the concert... alone. No best friend to share the moment with, no one to take pictures with... I'll be all alone."

Eesha sighed, unable to resist Ava's over-the-top dramatics. "Alright, fine, I'll come."

Ava immediately lit up, jumping up to hug her. "Oh, Eesha! I knew you weren't that hard to convince. I just have to get a little emotional with you."

Eesha pushed her away playfully. "Are you coming or not? Stop wasting time."

Ava grinned. "Of course I'm coming! We'll leave at 6 PM sharp. Oh wait, it's already 4 PM! I need to get ready. You better hurry up too—we can't be late!"

Eesha raised an eyebrow. "We still have two hours, Ava."

"Only two hours!" Ava said, rushing to her room. "That's barely any time! I need to figure out what to wear. Should I go with this outfit? No, maybe this one..."

As Ava got ready in a whirlwind, Eesha and Hana returned to their work. About an hour and a half later, Ava burst back into the living room.

"Eesha! You're not ready yet?"

"I am ready," Eesha replied, looking up from her notes.

Ava looked her up and down, unimpressed. "You're wearing *that*? We're going to a concert, not a library! You're my best friend, and I can't let you make a bad impression."

Eesha rolled her eyes. "We're going to a concert, not your wedding. And by the way, have you even met anyone from this boy band?"

Ava shrugged. "Well, no, not *yet*, but I know them, and who knows? Maybe today I'll meet them!"

Ava rummaged through her wardrobe and handed Eesha a different outfit. "Here, wear this. Hurry up, we don't have time to waste!"

Eesha sighed but went to change. When she came back, Ava immediately started doing her makeup.

"What are you doing?" Eesha asked, confused.

"Makeup, obviously!" Ava replied.

"I don't like wearing makeup. I'm fine the way I am."

"Shh, just sit still." Ava persisted, focusing on her task.

After a few minutes, Ava stepped back and admired her work. "There, all done. You look great!"

Hana looked up from her desk. "Wow, Eesha, you look really pretty."

Eesha blushed, feeling a little self-conscious. "You two are ridiculous. Are we leaving or not?"

Ava grabbed her purse. "Yes! Let's go!"

As they headed out, they waved goodbye to Hana.

"Bye, Hana!" they said in unison.

"Bye, you two. Take care and have fun!" Hana called back, smiling.
