The place felt warm, and for some reason I felt safe and happy. I searched around me, unsure of where I was. In-front of me I could make out fire…. Wait no it wasn't completely fire… it was fire making a shape of a dragon, huge towering over me. Its eyes seemed to watch me like a hawk. I tensed before everything disappeared.
My head felt painfully heavy. I winced as I tried to force my eyes open. I reached for my head, but for some reason I felt my hands restrained. My eyes opened in that instance. On my hands were green magic chains. I felt confused, why was I chained? and where was I?
I looked around. I was in my room, on my bed. Then, I felt their presence, my team, they all stood at the foot of the bed. But something was wrong. They all had their weapons out in defense stance, each of them watching me. All except Kami who was standing to my left by the bed. I felt it, the tension and hostility in the air. Anger flashed within me, I was kind of confused why were they behaving like this towards me?
I pulled at the chains, "what is the meaning of all this?" I demanded. Author moved forward, "you are asking us? What is the meaning of what you did back there?" he asked, his voice full of pure disgust.
"What are you talking about here?" I asked.
"Come on Light don't play dumb with us," he said, aiming his gun at me. "How long have you been a demon?" he inquired. Wait… a what now?
"Talk or I fire!" he warned, his voice commanding and intimidating at the same time.
"I dare you Author, you fire I end you here, now," Kami surprised me from my side. I turned to find her bow out and arrow draw back. It felt nice to know that even through anything I could always count on her. Ok something was definitely of here why were they calling me a demon?
"What are you guys talking about. Why you calling me a demon?" I asked. They all turned to me, unsure then slowly their weapons lowered. Kami turned to face me.
"You don't remember?" she asked.
"Remember what exactly?" I asked, now unsure if this was a prank or something. Everyone in the room looked at each other.
"Well...," Kami began....

The throne room was in chaos, "we would like you to explain to us how a demon was found within your noble ranks!" someone shouted from within the angry crowd.
"Yeah, tell us!" came a chorus shout.
Wisda stood from her throne. She didn't like this one pit, the fact that they were calling Light a demon yet he wasn't made her boil with rage. Yet she felt helpless, they had heard it, the incident at sector g. There was no way she or anyone else was going to convince them otherwise.
"We can not at the moment rule out the young prince is indeed a demon, if we could request more time…" she begun but didn't finish.
"TIME? MORE TIME? WHAT FOR! HAND OVER THE PRINCE TO US WE CAN DEAL WITH HIM OURSELVES!" another voice rang out from the crowd. Wisda turned to her family, seeking for support, anyone to back her up here. The queen seemed to be in a kind of daze as the rest of the siblings stared back at their sister, not daring move an inch of their muscles in their seats.
"YES! GIVE HIM UP! WILL HANDLE HIM!" another voice said.
"YES! GIVE HIM UP! GIVE HIM UP! GIVE HIM UP! GIVE HIM UP!" the whole throne room begun chanting, and Wisda felt like she was being pressed back to a wall. It was frustrating her. She bit her lower lip in agony.
There followed a slam to the ground, and Wisda turned, in time to her mother arise from her throne and move towards her magic staff in hand.
She hit the ground once with the hill of her staff, and silence washed over the whole throne room.
"I have heard you claims and I will diligently heed to them. You claim that my son, the prince of which you all have seen grow from a baby, to be a demon? I will have my demonologists (yes that was a thing) examine him. If he turns out to be a demon, I shall end him myself," the queen spoke out, and mummers swept through the crowed. "But if not," she said pointing towards the crowed, and instantly the crowed moved leaving four people within a radius. They had been the one causing persuasions earlier. The four hung their heads in shame. "I shall have your heads, you are all dismissed," she ordered. Before turning and exiting the throne room through a curtain behind the thrones. Wisda followed smiling she really liked her mom's bossy attitude as always, she chuckled.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Me, a demon, how absurd was this. I mean right? They must have been seeing things. "And my mom? Is she ok?" I asked my voice egger.
"She's ok master, thanks to you," Kami said from my side. They were scared of me that was for sure in their faces. I didn't know what to do, or how to convince them I was everything but a demon.
"So that's why your are all sacred of me?" I asked, and they all stared at me unsure of what to say next.
"Come on guys, you all know me and I do you," I began, "Ela, you care about nobody else but yourself…"
"Oh, fuck you!" Ela said.
"Lx you want to fight everything that that breathes,"
"Yeah, pretty much," Lx said, shrugging her shoulders her dual axes in hand.
"And Kami, you always want to protect me no matter what," I said but she didn't even faze. Her arrow was still on the ready.
"Author, you are always too ashamed to be seen with us, even if I am a prince," everyone turned to him and his gaze fell to his gun.
"Fenix… you…," I began but he cut me short.
"Want to bed every woman in the kingdom, say it Light am not ashamed of it," he said lowering his sword, and stepped forward towards me. "Come on guys what are we doing, Light is our friend and the main reason we can walk in this kingdom with pride, I mean I use his name to score girls," Fenix said. Facing the whole team. On that a wave of embarrassment washed over them. "What we should be doing is figuring how to get him out of here, even if he is a demon, we shouldn't care, but the citizens won't, they will all want him dead" Fenix said. I swallowed hard
"Yeah, but where do we hide him?" Ela asked.
"Well not in the brothels, those girls can't keep a zip to even a hair on the tummy," Fenix said, "What about you Lx?"
"No good, you all know I live with my parents right," she pleaded.
Everyone now turned to Author, "Come on my place sticks out like a sour thumb," he said. I kind of felt good to know they still cared but even I knew the kingdom wasn't safe. I needed to go somewhere no none could find me.
Then I remembered, the girl's words. She had called me a Trigon, whatever that was… but she had said my dad was still alive and kicking out there in the demon lands. Maybe I could run away there and also search for him, my father that is. Could I actually trust them on this? Should I tell them, maybe they could help me get out the domed kingdom. I breathed out.
"Guys, there is something else you should know… about the demon girl from earlier…," I told them everything, but left out the part about the Trigon.
"I knew you were lying!!!" Author yelled.
"I was also confused! As you are, but guys, I have to get out there make sure my dad is still live. I can also hide myself there," I pleaded.
"It can well much be a trap she is leading you into…" I cut Fenix short. "I DON'T CARE!" I screamed, they all turned in surprise.
"Guys I think it's the only chance we have," Kami said. They all debated on it, silently that is. Then Ela spoke up, "how about tonight, I mean no one will be expecting you to make a run for it on you first prison night," she had a good point but even if my parents were to ague my case, there was no way I was going to make it out of the castle.
"I can pull of something if its dark," Fenix said flexing his muscles. I seemed eager. "So, its settled then tonigh…," Lx was cut short by my opening door. In came the family three guard and a wizard. "How in the worlds did you all get in here?" my mom demanded. I knew they couldn't cover this up.
"I requested for them, when I woke up," I said quickly.
"Well then I need a word with you Light, if you could all excuse us please," and with that they all left leaving only my family and the wizard. I pulled at the chains. "Get those things of him! Now!" she ordered. And instantly the wizard raised his hand and the chains disappeared. I rubbed my wrists.
"I believe they filled you in on what happened?" she asked. I nodded. "Will need to have the demonologists test you..."
"But am not a demon!" I buttered out. My mom moved fast towards me and came in for an embrace. "I know that sweetie, but we need to show the kingdom the same, ok?" she said her eyes compelling. I nodded still in her arms, and she let go. I felt like telling her about dad but I couldn't. If I was to go, I could go alone and only risk my own life and not theirs. I wasn't even considering taking any of my team members. "Come on bro what's with the look, nobody's going to be killing you not on my watch," Wisda's voice rang out. I looked up at her and a smile found my face. It immediately disappeared, the second I stared at my brother and sister Pina…. Yeah, I hated those faces.
I stood in my room, my stomach inside my mouth. The team had decided to sneak me out tonight. At the moment my worry was them getting caught. Kami had informed me they had a plan but, in a hurry, leaving out the details apart from Fenix will be the one to come for me. Getting out the castle didn't scare me as much as the demon lands. I had no idea on what to expect on the other side. I signed, then studied my attire. I had selected my black royal robes, with silver linings. This, I was sure, could camouflage me in the dark. I walked around the room as it hit me, maybe this was going to be the last time I saw the place.
I chuckled, the tension in me building up. Then suddenly my balcony door opened. I turned, in time to see Fenix landing, there his wings spread out wide and a grin on his face. "You crapping on your pants yet?" he asked. I made my way to him. "Am scared shitless," I said trying to smile.
"So am going to be using a trick I learnt a while back, it conceals but am not sure on its effectiveness," he said, going back to the balcony. He turned, "you coming?" he asked. "Wait...wait… you telling me we are going to fly down from here?" I came in a low voice.
"Umm yeah problem?" he asked and I considered launching a debate but, decided against it. I headed out to the balcony. Fenix moved behind me, and stuck his arm under my armpits.
"Ready?" he asked.
"NO!"
"Good," he took off.

He strolled down the royal garden, thinking hard. What in the hell was his brother? And why was their mother and Wisda convinced he wasn't a demon? He groaned. If only they could just lock him up and forget about all of it, he thought to himself. But what if he really wasn't a demon? Then what was he? It all seemed to frustrate him. He signed and his eyes drifted and he saw it. A flying figure… no two.
He activated his spark eyes and in full view and made out royal robes… why could two people be flying late at night? He studied their trajectory… they were coming from… wait... Light's room. Was he making a run for it? Well not on his watch never! Theodoros charged, sparks enveloped him and he launched forward after the flying duo...
