I sighed and walked over to my bags grabbing my purse, my phone and my charger. Leo then grabbed my bags and carried them out to his truck, his said RV already attached to the hitch and ready to go. His two dogs following behind him, he set the bags inside the RV with his own, before he turned to me.
"Ready to go?" He asked sweetly.
I nodded and he locked the front door and set the alarm, before taking my hand and walking over to the truck. He opened the passenger door and helped me in, giving me the princess treatment. I smiled and put on my seatbelt, adjusting the seat so I sat comfortablely, as he shut the door and walked over to the back door. He let in his two dogs, a large black German shepherd Pitbull mix, Hades. And a black and white, shepherd and Husky mix, Artemis. He shut the door behind the dogs, and walked over to the drivers side. Next he got in the truck and started the engine. Making sure everything was good to go with towing his RV, before pulling out of the driveway of his mansion.
We drove for a while, until he pulled over to get gas, we were on the outskirts of Colorado. Close to New Mexico, and I couldn't help but wonder which state he planned after this.
As he finished up pumping the gas and got back into his truck, I sighed.
"What's wrong baby?" He asked, slightly concerned.
"Nothing, I'm just gonna miss Colorado." I said, a slightly sad undertone to my words.
"Awe baby, we'll come back, we're not gonna be gone forever." He smiled, a slightly teasing tone to his words.
I smirked and rolled my eyes, it was amusing to see that he was still as dorky and goofy as ever.
After a hour or so, we passed a road sign, we had left Colorado.
"Goodbye Colorado, hello New Mexico!" Leo said with that dorky smile of his.
He drove for a few more minutes before pulling into a truck stop for a bathroom and snack break. We both went inside, I went to the bathroom while he got the snacks, and drinks. After we both got what we wanted we headed back to the truck, getting back on the road.
Leo spoke up after about an hour, "So New Mexico huh? What do you think so far?" he asked.
I looked up from my phone, and glanced out the window. "It's nice I guess, it's too dark to really see anything tho." I said with a shrug and a sigh.
He sighed himself and nodded, before pulling into an RV park, was this where we would be staying?
"An RV park? Don't you normally get like some penthouse suit babe?" I asked in confusion.
He laughed, "Haha I didn't feel like it this time. I wanted to enjoy this trip with you, hence the RV!" he smiled.
I smiled sweetly, he was so cute. I got out of the truck with him, and followed him into the RV, he set his keys down on the counter. It was an nice fucking RV, it had a built in kitchen, a sink, an eating area, a bathroom with a shower, and a bedroom. He shut the cabin door and walked into the bedroom. I smiled and followed him, admiring the RV.
"This is a nice RV you have, babe." I said softly.
He smiled, "Thanks, now come lay with me. I know you're tired." his words were straightforward and to the point, but sweet and filled with love.
I smiled and laid down beside him, if this was a dream, then I would wake up in the morning. Right?
