When I woke back up, it was late, around noon-ish. I yawned and stretched, sitting up in the bed, Leo was still off doing his work stuff. I sighed and grabbed a hoodie, putting it on and walking out of the bedroom to the small kitchen. Leo had left a note on the counter, I smiled and picked it up reading it.
The note read. "I know you fell back to sleep, so there's a plate of food in the fridge."
I smiled, setting the note down and grabbing the plate of said food from the fridge. It was simple, just a small plate of waffles with fresh strawberries on top. I giggled and shook my head.
"Such a fucking dork." I muttered to myself with a smile.
I heated up the waffles and grabbed the syrup, pouring some on top before sitting down and eating. Once I was finished I washed the dishes I had used and got dressed. Deciding on wearing a simple black tank top, with some ripped jeans. Complimented by my hair in a ponytail and my black converse sneakers. After I was dressed I grabbed my sketchbook and one of Leo's camping chairs, before walking outside. I set the chair down, and sat down, drawing random doodles in my sketchbook.
After a while I looked up, looking for some inspiration on what to draw. When I saw a beautiful girl, all the neighborhood kids were surrounding her, braiding flowers into her hair. The sight was honestly adorable, and I could feel my heart melting. The longer I studied her the more I noticed. Her perfect smile, her Latina features, but most of all I could just tell she was shy. I closed my sketchbook and slowly walked over to her. She smiled shyly when she noticed me approaching.
"Hola, mi nombre es Izzy." She shyly introduced herself in Spanish, her voice was soft and sweet, like being wrapped in a warm hug.
"Hola, mi nombre es Mia." I giggled and introduced myself as well.
"Mia? That's such a pretty name chica!" she exclaimed, seemily slightly less shy as she noticed I wasn't mean.
I smiled, "Awe thank you!" I thanked her.
She nodded as the neighborhood kids ran off back to their parents RVs. She then smiled and brushed the hair out of her face.
"You must be the new chica that Eclipse partied with last night." She said in that soft voice of her.
I nodded, groaning slightly as I did so. "Si, that would be me."
She giggled, "It's alright, it happens to the best of us. Mi hermana can be a lot." she said with a gentle smile.
"Mi hermana?" I asked slightly confused.
"My sister." She giggled.
I giggled as well, "I know what it means, I just, Eclipse is your sister? You guys are so different tho? And you don;t exactly look alike either?" I inquired.
"Ah we get that a lot," She giggled again, "but yes she's my sister, we just have different dads." she explained.
I nodded, that made a lot more sense now. "Must be pretty crazy having such a party animal for a sister." I joked.
"Don't even get me started." Izzy groaned, "I prefer to stay home and read, while she prefers to go out and party. And oh my god the mess she leaves behind!" she vented.
I smiled softly, "I'll take it you're a bit of a clean freak?" I questioned.
She nodded shyly. "Uh yea, I just can't help it."
I smiled, "So I take it your the shy type?" I teased.
Her face flushed as a look of embarrassment crossed her face, "Yeah... I'm kinda shy... Is it really that obvious?" she asked.
I nodded and giggled, speaking in a playful tone. "Just a little bit."
She sighed and covered her face with her hands, "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. I'm just not good with people." she apologised, her face covered all the while.
I smiled, "But you are super pretty!" I complimented her.
Her cheeks turned a dark shade of red as she looked away shyly, "Gracias ... you don't look so bad yourself." she mumbled quietly, twirling a strand of her hair around her finger.
I smiled, and watched her play with her already curly hair. She was just so beautiful, I couldn't help it. I even felt kinda jealous, she was gorgeous and I was just well, me. The neighborhood girls, were playing around us. Laughing and giggling, as I sat down, allowing them to braid flowers into my hair as they had done for Izzy before I walked over.
She giggled and twirled a lock of her black hair around her finger. The little girls around me giggling and whispering to each other, but I ignored their whispers. Focusing on the conversation with her.
"So you're the CEO's girlfriend?" Izzy asked.
I nodded, "That would be me, yes." it was amazing how many people knew that Leo was a CEO.
"Must be hard being the girlfriend of the famous Leo Wolfgang, no?" She inquired.
I nodded, "God it's terrible. Everyone always bombards him with questions, and girls always try to flirt with him." I vented to her.
"I can imagine, but hey look on the bright side chica. He's with you not anyone else, that's gotta mean something, right?" She smiled, her words held some truth to them.
My smiles faltered slightly as I absorbed her words, she was right. He was with me and not anyone else. When girls tried flirting with him he simply smiled and so sickeningly sweetly rejected them. After rejecting a girl, he would always come home to me and tell me all about it.
"Yea... your right." I said with a thoughtful smile.
Just then Hades and Artemis stepped out of the trailers, walking into the grass and doing their business. Before they finally trotted over, tails wagging. Izzy smiled widely and pet the two large dogs.
"Oh my goodness! They're so adorable!" She cooed over the dogs.
"So you like dogs?" I asked.
She nodded, "I absolutely love dogs!" she exclaimed.
"For a shy girl, you seem to be pretty bold right now, are you sure you're just a shy girl who likes to read?" I inquired.
Her hand stilled on the dogs heads and she looked back at you, contemplating her answer for a few moments. She shrugged and looked down at the puppies again, starting to pet them again.
"There isn't really much to tell. I'm pretty basic. I like cooking, reading, stuff like that." She said, her voice still as soft and sweet as ever.
I nodded, "Alright, I believe you." I said.
