The host of the funeral welcomes everyone in a calm sense of manner even though the host's heart feels like an agony of despair since his twin brother Sansui Yamada passed away...
Funeral's host(Shinsui Yamada): I welcome you all in the commemoration of Sansui's passing... I shall narrate his backstory, and let's just say... his past is not as great as it seems even though he was well-off in his late twenties...
Sansui has been like a best friend towrds me since childhood, Although we had our differences back then... It only strengthened the bond between the both of us even though we had different interests... Sansui was more into knowledge which was intellectually useful while I was a bit interested in music but had to take a break from it since I'm officially a doctor now... I had a disease since childhood when i was 6, which made my right eye lose sight. My mother Kuroko Yamada took me to the hospital and the doctors diagnosed me and said that I needed someone to exchange the blind eye to a perfectly healthy eye before my case gets worse to the point I lose sight in both of my eyes... Sansui bravely agreed that he would exchange it for me for the sake of my sight in order to make me happy... I'm still thankful for the kind gesture he did... Otherwise, I wouldn't be where I am today... In childhood, things went well until our parents started fighting to the point they divorced, which also meant that I won't be able to see my brother again... Sansui was taken by my biological father, Kageyama Yamada, while my mother, Kuroko Yamada, took me. Sansui and Kageyama moved to California, United States of America, while I had to move in with my mother's new family at Hiroshima, Japan... When Sansui went into his new home by the age of 8, he was warmly welcomed by his soon-to-be stepmother and his step-siblings.
Step-mother: Yuri, who is a soft-hearted person. Mostly looks forward to occasions and good at sharing advice without hurting the person whatsoever and is a forgiving person.
Step-sisters: Misaki and Akeru.
Misaki and Akeru both misbehave a lot and are a bit spoilt, but they both have their differences since Misaki is slightly mature than Akeru. Misaki thinks twice before doing something, and Akeru is mostly rude but innocent...
Sansui didn't have a hard time adapting to the conditions and mostly had fun with his new family and made a few friends, which lasted till high school. But the problem is that even though Sansui knows how to write in English , he doesn't know how to speak in that language since he was mostly used to speaking in Japanese. Even if he tries to speak English or read in front of the class, he is often made fun of because of his accent, so he eventually becomes less
talkative among his friends, which made them a bit concerned. Eventually Sansui decided to go to extra-curricular activities in order to make his father proud by teaching himself of how to play the violin because he noticed that his father was getting distant towards him and his father would find fault in him every chance he got when Sansui made a mistake which made him realize that because of studying too much and not being able to interact properly made his father disappointed . Sansui decided to give his maximum effort to master the violin, and at the age of 14, he was able to play the violin without a sheet. He was selected to many programs and got many awards and certificates for his best performance on stage. One time there was an interschool competition where only one person from each school has to go to the venue to perform a song, of course Sansui took the lead and the music teacher gladly encouraged him to go for it despite the against of odds that it will be held in a high-class venue with qualified judges, Sansui practiced long hours to the point he only got 2 hours of sleep just so his father would finally stop criticizing him for once, at the day of the competition, Sansui managed to do at his level best and got 2nd place at the competition ,he went home happily but once he stepped inside there was an inaudible shouting in the other room...
