Locations: Shannon's House
Courage stumbled through the door, his legs trembling beneath him. Sky rushed to his side, catching him just as he collapsed.
"Courage! Oh my god, what happened?" Sky exclaimed, helping him onto the couch.
Frost, Dikstra, and Shannon rushed into the room, concern etched on their faces.
"Where's Karma?" Frost demanded, her eyes scanning the room frantically. "Is he behind this?"
Courage's eyes fluttered open, but he couldn't speak. He tried to sit up, but a wave of dizziness washed over him, forcing him back onto the couch.
"Courage, don't try to move," Shannon said, placing a hand on his chest. "You're safe now."
But Frost was beyond reason. "I'm going to kill Karma," she snarled, her eyes blazing with fury. "He's gone too far this time."
Dikstra nodded in agreement. "I'm with Frost. We can't let him get away with this."
Shannon held up a hand, his voice calm and soothing. "Let's wait until Courage is conscious and can tell us what happened. We don't know the full story yet."
Frost's face twisted in frustration, but she knew Shannon was right. She paced back and forth across the room, her anger simmering just below the surface.
Meanwhile, Sky tended to Courage, trying to revive him. After a few moments, Courage's eyes flickered open again.
"Karma...he's in trouble," Courage whispered, his voice barely audible.
Frost stopped pacing and turned to him. "What do you mean? What happened?"
Courage struggled to sit up again, this time with more success. "Karma came to rescue me from Doom Prison...but our mother was there. She's behind everything."
The room fell silent, shock written on every face.
"What do you mean?" Shannon asked, his voice low and urgent.
Courage took a deep breath, trying to gather his strength. "Our mother...she's been manipulating everyone. She's the one who's been pulling the strings all along."
Frost's eyes narrowed. "We need to get to Karma. Now." Frost's determination was met with resistance from the others. "Are you crazy, Frost?" Dikstra asked. "Karma's a monster. He needs to be put down, and if Lydia can do the job for us, then so be it."
Sky nodded in agreement. "I don't see why we need to risk our lives to save him. He's brought nothing but trouble."
Shannon's expression was grim. "I agree with Sky and Dikstra. Karma's actions have consequences, and if Lydia can take care of him, then that's one less problem for us to deal with."
Frost's face twisted in anger and hurt. "How can you say that? Have you ever wondered why Karma is the way he is? What drove him to become this...monster?"
The others exchanged uneasy glances, but Frost continued, her voice rising. "You all know nothing about him! He's been through hell and back, and yet you're so quick to judge him."
Frost's eyes flashed with determination. "I won't leave him alone in there. I'll go, with or without your help."
Dikstra shrugged. "Suit yourself, Frost. But don't say we didn't warn you."
Shannon placed a hand on Frost's shoulder. "Frost, please reconsider. We can't afford to lose you too."
Frost shook off his hand. "I'm going, Shannon. With or without you."
And with that, Frost turned and walked away, leaving the others to make their choice.
Location: Doom Prison
Karma sneered at his mother, his eyes blazing with hatred. "Ah, Mother, dear Mother. I thought I'd finally rid myself of your toxic presence. But alas, it seems you're still lingering, like a festering wound."
Lydia smiled, her eyes glinting with amusement. "Ah, Keon, you always were so quick to anger. But you didn't kill me, my son. You only saw what I wanted you to see."
Karma's eyes narrowed, his voice dripping with venom. "Save your breath, Mother. Your lies won't save you this time. I'll make sure of it."
Lydia chuckled. "The heart you thought you removed was just an illusion, Keon. You hadn't fully mastered your powers yet, so you couldn't see the truth. I'm a Mage, and I can create powerful illusions."
Karma's face twisted in rage, his fangs bared. "You think your tricks will fool me? I'll show you the true meaning of power."
With a fierce cry, Karma launched himself at Lydia, his sword flashing in the dim light. But Lydia was no pushover. She raised her hand, and a blast of magic sent Karma flying across the room.
Karma picked himself up, his eyes blazing with fury. "You think you can defeat me, Mother? I'm the strongest one here! I'll show you no mercy!"
Lydia smiled, her eyes glinting with magic. "We'll see about that, Keon. You may have your father's strength, but I have the power of the elements."
The two clashed, their powers locked in a fierce battle. But no matter how hard they tried, neither could land a hit. It was as if they were evenly matched, their powers canceling each other out.
Frost and the others arrived just in time to see the battle raging on. Frost's eyes widened in shock. "Karma, stop! You'll kill her!"
But Karma didn't listen. He was too far gone, consumed by his rage and hatred.
Shannon stepped forward, his eyes fixed on Lydia. "We need to stop this before it's too late."
But before anyone could intervene, Karma and Lydia vanished in a flash of magic, leaving the others staring at an empty room.
Frost slammed her fist against the wall, her frustration boiling over. "Damn it! I lost him again!"
Sky placed a calming hand on her shoulder. "Hey, we're with you, Frost. We won't let you face this alone."
Frost's eyes flashed with determination. "I need to find him, Sky. I need to stop him before he kills her."
Sky nodded. "I've got an idea. My eagle eye locator powers might come in handy here."
Frost's eyes widened in hope. "Can you really track them down?"
Sky nodded confidently. "I can try. Let me send out my mini eagle to scout ahead."
Sky whistled softly, and a tiny eagle emerged from his sleeve. The eagle perched on his hand, looking up at him with sharp eyes.
"Okay, little guy," Sky said. "Time to go to work. Find Karma and Lydia for us."
With a soft flutter of its wings, the mini eagle took off, flying out into the unknown. Sky watched it go, his eyes narrowed in concentration.
"Let's see where they are..." he muttered to himself, his eyes fixed on the eagle's distant form.
And with that, Sky began his search, his eyes scanning the horizon for any sign of Karma and Lydia...
