A teenager sits in a bean bag chair, in a strange area, filled with different items, seemingly from a game, like swords, potions, artifacts, and more. His build is slender, his hair color is cyan and reddish-orange with pink stripes and accents, his skin is pale and has a light blue mark on the right side of his face, his eyes are yellow with white square pupils, he wears a light grey sweater with lime green lines around the body, a large hoodie with red lines outlining it and pink & blue mixed on the sleeves, appearing splattered, he wears golden stick earrings and unique glasses.
He watches TV, seeing two people fight against each other.
"Damn I'm bored, watching others fight is no fun, I wanna fight as well, maybe I can fight a boss."
He thinks to himself while leaning deep into the chair, he makes a game screen appear, his stage name being [Player_09], showing different things like Lvl, Health, Strength, Speed, Fatigue, and more, he presses the map option on his screen, which then shows 2 different lands, he chooses the Greenlands and looks at the map. It shows a wide area, filled with lots of buildings and floating objects.
"All right, what kind of bosses should I fight this time?"
He presses the boss icon which shows all the bosses of the Greenlands on the map.
"Hmmm, I'll do this one, the Spider Gorilla, incredibly fast, agile, and hard to see as well as capable of setting traps and the required level being 31, that's fine, I'm Level 250."
He gets out of his chair and walks to a door, opening it, he is presented with lots of tall buildings, people flying, some running extremely fast on the ground and some people fighting on the streets, blast, and energy shot around the area.
"Alright so I should use my Teleporter Staff, I'll get me where I want the fastest."
The boy opens his inventory which reveals he has exactly [12,565,697,3847,474,4947,347,384] different items, he types [Teleporter Staff] in the Search Box and presses the icon for it, a large purple staff, seemingly looking technologically advanced with a circular top that has balls inside of it.
"All right, Greenlands, Monkey Gorilla, Greenlands, Spider Gorilla."
He repeats this thought in his head which causes the balls on the staff to spin inside. A bright flash of purple initiates and shoots up into the sky. The boy finds himself in front of a giant forest, the trees covered in webs and strange-looking spiders.
"He normally offers around 79 to 86 exp depending on your performance, I'll try to end the fight as fast as possible, it would be nice if I could have a partner."
He doesn't notice the two girls standing behind him, the taller one taps him on the back.
"Hi, are you going to challenge this boss too?"
The woman asks, Player_09 turns around, puts his glasses on his forehead, and sees her build. She has a slightly muscular build, her hair is light blonde, very curly, and has a ponytail, her pupils are blue and she has very thick and sharp eyelashes. She wears a black sleeveless slightly see-through dress in which Player_09 can slightly see her panties, and silver armor composed of metal greaves, sabatoons, tasset, smooth shoulder plates, and a crop top breastplate.
The other woman with her has a slim build and is much shorter, her hair is white and is braided into a ponytail, her pupils are bright red, she wears a black nearly completely see-through cheongsam-like dress, her white bra, and panties are very visible, she has thigh high black socks and she has white metal greaves & sabatons.
"Yes I am, wanna join me?"
He looks at the shorter girl and sees that she seems very distracted and nervous.
"Yeah, we do, we have been struggling with this boss for a while, like this thing hard AF."
The woman says using modern slang in her words.
"No worries, first tell me your names and levels."
"Right, names Destroyer49 but you can just call me D49 since it's shorter. Currently, I'm Level 25 and my friend's name is Ego, she's actually an Index weapon and is currently Level 5."
She points towards her weapon who also waves and says Hi as well.
"-Deadass?"
"Yep, I found her in a secret level of a dungeon."
D49 doesn't seem to be deceiving him, he knows that people would lie about their levels to gain the most experience for defeating a boss, always assuming the person is weak.
"Well, my name is Player_09 and I'm level 25, nice to meet you."
Player_09 lies behind his words, not wanting to reveal his higher level so she doesn't rely on him to beat the boss.
"Wait, you didn't change your stage name, why?"
"I didn't feel like it, I don't really care about stage names, I just wanna play in Vito-Saga."
He says confidently, he smiles with a grin, looking almost cocky.
"Well that's fine, I'll just call you Nine, how about that?"
"-Sure."
"Now the most important part, what is your class?"
Nine says this with seriousness in his words and tone.
"So serious, well I'm in the [Weapon Master] Class, I can use a variety of different weapons."
"That's a very useful class, how many skills do you have?"
"Right now, about." She opens her own menu screen and goes to the skills section. "25 skills and my currently equipped ones are", she shows her equipped skills, being:Â
[Double Weapon] (Lvl 18): Create a replica of the weapon that you use at the current moment
[Blacksmith] (Lvl 23): Summon a hammer, by hitting a material with the hammer and visualizing what you want, you can forge a weapon from it
[Style Combat] (Lvl 5): Allows you to adapt faster to an opponent's fighting style and decipher it completely.
"And my homie Ego can turn into any weapon I visualize, although I have a hard time visualizing."
"That's good, here's mine."
He shows off his screen that only reveals one skill equipped and one skill in total, being:Â
[Red Code] (Lvl 99): A pure bright red ball that you can then shape in any way you want and all supernatural phenomena it touches will be negated.
"HUH, how is it level 99, you said you were level 25."
"Oh yeah, that's because my class is [Hacker]."
"I heard that you could trade your skill's levels to increase another skill's level, is that what you did?"
She asks, still a bit shocked by the level of a skill from someone relatively the "same" level as her.
"-Yep."
"Ok but why do you only have one skill, specifically a beginner skill, did you sell your other skills?"
"Pretty much, I wanted to challenge myself, people in the same class as I never use this skill because of its difficulty in use and the pain of leveling it up."
"I have heard that the Meta for those in the Hacker class gives up their starter skill for better skills since they were useless and super hard to level up even once."
Ego says, trying to at least feel included in the conversation.
"Yeah, you're right, typically for Red Code, you need 10 times the regular exp needed to level up this thing once, and that only increases from there and you need good visualization to utilize it correctly."
"Geez, how much grinding did you do, you must have been dedicated."
"I was, you don't have to worry though, my visualization is perfecto."
Nine smiles at this declaration, giving them a thumbs up and enabling the sparkling emote.
"Sure, now that we know what we can do, we should be able to think of a plan to beat the boss."
D49 spawns a bunch of green potions in her hands, carrying them with her fingers.
"My idea was to continuously use healing potions if I ever reach low HP and rush the boss, my [CRIT Rate] is 31.6% and my [DEF] is at Level 30, they're quite high so I intended to bet on them."
(She is saying Crit Rate and Defense)
"It's not a bad plan but I have a better idea, I can use my Red Code to trap the boss, I can extend my Red Code to a far distance and use it in ways you have never seen and then you can hit it with as much power as you can as well as using your Double Weapon skill for extra points."
"That does sound better, we should try D49, it's a lot safer and it's guaranteed damage if he does retrain it."
Ego says, pulling on D49's hair.
"-Stop that."
"Yeah, we can try that, it sounds better than my plan anyway."
Now having a plan, Nine, D49, and Ego enter through the branch gate which then closes itself using webs from the strange spiders, Ego grabs onto D49's arm, a bit scared of the surrounding area.
"Not only do you have the size of a child, but you're scared like a child too, couldn't be me."
"Shut up D, I'm not the size of a child, it's a teenager, check yo eyes next time."
"Would you look at that, the boss is currently asleep."
All three of them stop in front of a ring made of pebbles surrounding the space, the boss lying at the other end of the ring, asleep.
"The moment we all step into that ring, I'll wake up and charge us, we ain't trying to give it the faith of a one-on-one, we're jumping, got it?"
"Yeah, Ego."
"-Right."
D49 and Ego hold hands, which causes Ego to glow bright gold, her entire body being enveloped in the light. What appears after the light is not Ego but a zig-zag sword with a mechanical handle.
"Weird Sword Shape but cool anyway."
"I still need to get better."
D49 opens her Party List and sends an invite to Player_09. He accepts the invitation, and this causes a screen to appear, saying [Player_09 & Destroyer49 Have Partied Up].
"All right, let's go and kill this thing."
"-Right!"
