Chapter 101 - Chapter 101

"Notification: You have gained access to the 'Traveler's Guild Trade Forum'!

As the mist dispersed, a path appeared, with white jade steps extending into the unknown.

Lucien did not hesitate and stepped forward.

The moment his foot touched the path, the mist ahead cleared further, revealing different prompts for various roads:

"Traveler's Guild Internal Forum" (Accessible to Travelers only)

"Traveler's Guild Cosmic Forum" (Access Denied)

The only forum Lucien could access was the "Traveler's Guild Earth Trade Forum". Without hesitation, he followed the path.

After some time, the mist cleared completely, revealing a stunning view ahead.

Lucien stepped into an area surrounded by a sparkling ocean, ethereal light swirling around him, exuding a naturally serene charm.

"So, this is it…" Lucien muttered as he surveyed his surroundings.

In front of him, a stream of water surged upward, forming a massive interface panel. This was the forum display, with posts spanning across the entire Earth.

All the posts were trade-related, consistent with the forum's function as a trading hub.

Examples of Listings:

"Auction! Level 43 Northmont Orc warrior, perfect for guarding coastal towns!"

"Buying rare items—prices negotiable; satisfaction guaranteed by the Penguin Guild."

"Urgent! Seeking master skill book 'Wrath of the Heavens'!"

"For Sale: Soldier Amulets."

"Low-level golden weapons available! Guaranteed satisfaction!"

"Buying high-grade spirit grains…"

Browsing the forum, Lucien quickly understood where he was.

This was a platform built to serve thousands of traders, allowing them to access different venues such as auctions, private trading zones, or public trading spaces.

"How convenient," Lucien remarked.

After all, this was a miniature world created by the Traveler's Guild itself.

Lucien paused briefly, then began searching for the transfer certificates he needed. His focus was on certificates for the Cultivator, Immortal Practitioner, and Confucian Scholar classes.

Of course, his priority was finding quality items.

Activating the filter function, he entered the keywords and clicked OK.

The interface refreshed instantly, presenting thousands of posts.

Lucien browsed through them and found that most were offering Cultivator certificates, while only seven posts listed Confucian Scholar certificates.

Post Categories:

30% were low-quality gray certificates (e.g., "Martial Arts Instructor," "Bandit Trainee," "Rebellious Martial Artist").

60% were common white certificates (e.g., "Fist Master," "Commanding General").

10% were rare green and blue certificates.

Lucien ignored the low-quality and common items, focusing instead on the rare ones. He found thirteen posts offering blue and purple certificates:

7 Blue certificates.

6 Purple certificates.

Upon examining the purple certificates, Lucien frowned. Most of the posts demanded unreasonable conditions, such as joining a particular faction.

The blue certificates were slightly better, but three of the posts still had overly complex requirements. Only four were straightforward trades:

Skywalker

Guardian Monk

True Inheritor of the Sacred Water Palace

Bare-Chested Green Clam

Since Lucien intended to purchase a certificate for Lin Daiyu, he excluded the Guardian Monk and Bare-Chested Green Clam options, leaving him with Skywalker and True Inheritor of the Sacred Water Palace.

Lucien decided to inspect the Skywalker post first.

This certificate was described as having been acquired in the chaotic aftermath of a war between immortals and deities.

Skywalker Class Details:

Abilities: Early-stage flight and manipulation of celestial energy.

Combat Style: Balanced melee and ranged attacks, each imbued with divine power.

Skywalkers were said to ascend into the heavens with a single step, their strikes shattering clouds and spreading devastation for miles.

"Is a legendary-class certificate really only blue-grade?" Lucien scowled.

Upon closer inspection, he realized it was merely a Tier-1 certificate, despite the exaggerated post description.

Trade Requirements:

Price: 250,000 Void Crystals or equivalent barter goods.

After some thought, Lucien decided to contact the post owner.

Lucien: "What items are acceptable for trade?"

Shortly afterward, the post glowed, and a mist-shrouded figure appeared.

Traveler's Guild Trading Rules:

For security, all traders were cloaked in mist, preventing their identities from being revealed—even to divine beings.

Mysterious Trader: "Hello! I am the post owner, Wave Amidst Waves!"

The trader smiled. "I'll be direct. I'm open to trading blue-grade items or better. Low-quality world wonders, talismans, or buildings are also acceptable."

Lucien's expression twitched slightly at the mention of "world wonders" but ignored the remark. After some thought, he retrieved an item from his Small World storage:

"Summon Tidecaller Murlocs"—Green Grade.

He offered the item to the trader.

The trader inspected it briefly but frowned.

Trader: "Apologies, but you'll need to add 35,000 Void Crystals to make up the difference."

Frustrated by the trader's greed, Lucien ended the negotiation and moved on to the next post.

The second post owner appeared, also cloaked in mist. This time, the figure was female, and her voice was calm yet distant.

Mysterious Woman: "20,000 Void Crystals or equivalent items of the same quality."

Lucien displayed his available items, including:

"Summon Tidecaller Murlocs"

"Rogue Archer Emblem"

The woman chose the Rogue Archer Emblem without hesitation. The trade was completed, and she left without another word.

"Efficient, but cold," Lucien murmured.

He glanced briefly at her username: Thousand-Year Ice.

With the Skywalker certificate acquired, Lucien updated his own username for anonymity.

Old Name: Lucien.

New Name: Martial Emperor Uncle.

Next, Lucien turned his attention to the Immortal Practitioner and Confucian Scholar certificates.

The Immortal Practitioner certificate was rarer, requiring Lucien to trade blue-grade equipment and 2,000 Void Crystals.

As for the Confucian Scholar certificate, most listings were plain white-grade. Lucien used green-grade equipment to purchase one.

Satisfied with his acquisitions, Lucien closed the interface and shifted his focus to another post in the Traveler's Guild acquisition section.
