Mrs. Mitsunaga: "I shouldn't have told him the truth."
Mrs. Mitsunaga said, regretting her decision.
Takeshi: "He deserved to find out the truth."
Takeshi responds to her.
For a while now, Takeshi and Mrs. Mitsunaga had talked about the future of the Mitsunaga family, and now with Arashi knowing the truth about his mother's sickness, more worries had come for Mrs. Mitsunaga.
Mrs. Mitsunaga: "Arashi is unpredictable, and what makes him even scarier is his strength."
Takeshi: "Then it is the Mitsunaga's job to lead him on the right way."
Mrs. Mitsunaga: "But I am not his mother; I don't even know him that well. I am the head of the Mitsunaga family; what he needs is his mother."
Takeshi: "We both have children, and both of us have responsibilities. You have been a head longer than I have. I am the wrong person for you to seek answers from; I can only offer an open ear."
Mrs. Mitsunaga: "Why did I even ask you?"
Takeshi laughs, taking a little sip of his tea.
Takeshi: "What do the elders say about the situation?"
Mrs. Mitsunaga: "Surprisingly, the elders are less of a help than you are."
She responds, also taking a small sip of her tea.
Mrs. Mitsunaga: "Let's see what the elders will decide."
Takeshi: "Is there a meeting today?"
Mrs. Mitsunaga: "Yes, there is one right now—…"
She says before getting interrupted by a servant who stormed into her room,
Servant: "Mrs. Mitsunaga-sama, something terrible has occurred."
The out-of-breath servant says, wiping away her sweat,
Mrs. Mitsunaga: "What is it? What happened?"
Servant: "It is terrible, the elders, the Elders are dead."
She responds in a dramatic fashion, completely out of breath.
Mrs. Mitsunaga shockingly looks at Takeshi, who just looks back at her in confusion.
Mrs. Mitsunaga: "Servant, what do you mean the Elders are dead?"
Takeshi: "I mean, they were old."
Servant: "It is terrible; they were killed… killed by Arashi Mitsunaga"
Mrs. Mitsunaga gasps dramatically; meanwhile, Takeshi starts laughing.
Takeshi: "I think Arashi is a step ahead with lifting the mystery of Meyio's sudden sickness."
Mrs. Mitsunaga: "SERVANT, QUICK, WHERE IS ARASHI NOW?"
She says, standing up and grabbing the servant on both her shoulders,
Servant: "It is terrible; he is on the run now."
…
It is night; Arashi is on the run. Covered in blood, he passes through the bushes and trees while being hunted down by the private security soldiers.
Arashi turns around quickly, grabbing his blood-covered katana tightly before cutting a tree in half, letting it block the way behind him.
Arashi: "These damn Elders, they thought they could do what they wanted, and when they messed things up, they could do as if nothing happened."
He says while continuing to run away.
Anger has taken over Arashi; without a second thought, he decided to end the life of the Mitsunaga's last elders as an act of revenge for what they did to his mother.
After getting caught, he didn't have an escape plan, killing everyone who had witnessed his killing, leaving not only the elders but also around three servants and soldiers.
Arashi stops after reaching the end of the woods, entering a giant meadow.
Arashi: "I can't run away the whole time."
He says to himself before turning around, ready to confront his pursuers.
Countless soldiers are walking out of the woods, ready to fight the young Arashi.
Arashi: "I don't care how many you are; I will kill every one of you."
He says, going into a fighting stance, holding tight onto his katana, ready to slay every one of them.
???: "Halt! Soldiers fall back; I will take care of him.
A voice says from the woods.
It is a man, muscular and with a scar across his face.
Arashi: "And who are you?"
He asks, confused,
???: "I am private security army first commander Koji; my job is to keep the peace inside of the property and the residencies, something you have broken. I will prevent your killing spree by facing you myself; as a samurai, I will face you with great honor.
Arashi looks surprised; he has never seen the first commander before, but he knows that he is a samurai, someone with great honor, he thinks, someone he wants to be like.
Arashi thinks, after all, it was his dream to be a samurai with great honor and to duel someone like that.
Arashi: "I will accept your offer."
He responds to Koji.
Koji: "Very well."
Koji steps to the front, unsheathing his katana before going into a stand, much different than the one Arashi is inside.
Koji shouts a battle cry before committing a slash into the direction of Arashi, making Arashi block quickly and surprising him with his quick speed.
Arashi holds onto his katana, pressing against Koji's katana, slowly overpowering him.
Koji backs down to take another swing, quickly making Arashi go back again into a blocking stance.
…
Soshi stands in front of the room where the elders had been brutally slain.
Soshi: "A long time ago I wished the same thing onto you elders, but when I tried to commit the violent act, someone stood in front of me, accidentally stabbing him and making me regret my decision."
He says while looking at the brutal scenery.
Takeshi enters the room, also viewing the scenery.
Takeshi: "Was that the unforgivable crime you committed that you were pardoned for?"
Soshi: "It was Soshiro Mitsunaga, the father of Mrs. Mitsunaga's husband, who I had stabbed; it was also he who on this day stopped me from committing a crime I would have regretted my whole life, and it was also he who gave me my new name, Soshi, and pardoned me, leading to me devoting myself to the Mitsunaga bloodline for the rest of my life."
Takeshi: "What a story, but you can't say that you finally feel even a little better after the death of these assholes."
Soshi doesn't respond, turning his head away from the scenery and leaving without making another comment.
