Max heard them and smiled wryly, shaking his head lightly. Even he hadn't expected to have such low ranks for his affinity with fire.
'I guess a high skill level doesn't mean much except for combat power,' he thought depressingly as he began walking toward where everyone else stood after testing.
But he hadn't gone far when someone blocked his path. It was Ryan, the supervisor of the recruitment test.
"You are disqualified," Ryan said directly.
"What?" Max froze. He couldn't believe what he had just heard.
'No, I have to do something,' Max thought as he looked at Ryan, using the Flame Creation skill. Immediately, flames burst forth from his hands, their intensity so high that it caused people to sweat.
