Luke, however, only laughed. "A duel? With you?" His voice dripped with disdain. "You should be thanking me for even considering such a waste of time."
"You—!" Ethan's face turned a deeper shade of red.
Professor Xavier sighed. "Luke, this is highly irregular. Are you sure?"
"Professor," Luke said, smiling brightly. "Didn't you say it yourself? Practical skill is more important than theory."
The room fell silent. Even the bald examiner couldn't help but look at Luke with newfound respect.
"Very well," the professor said, his eyes glinting with anticipation. "Let's see how this unfolds."
"Oh, why are there so many people in this year's special enrollment?"
"It seems the special enrollment of our Pearl Academy has become a mix of academics and martial arts this year," an old examiner with gray temples sighed.
