"You know, you're starting to be a pain in my ass," Maxwell Bradwell teased, his voice filled with disdain. He stepped further into the room, his well polished shoes clicking against the well polished floor. His men spread out behind him, their weapons aimed at Aiden and Marina.
"Maxwell, we can talk about this..." Aiden growled, his gun still raised.
"C'mon. Did you really think you could walk into my den and steal from me?" Maxwell asked, his mouth gradually forming a smile. "You should have known better, cousin. You are smarter than this."
Marina's eyes exchanged between Aiden and Maxwell, her grip still tightening around the USB drive. "What do you want, Maxwell...?"
"...What I have always wanted," Maxwell replied, his eyes switching to Marina. "To take everything Aiden has. And you, my dear.." he pointed at Marina,
"seems to be a key piece of that puzzle."
