CHAPTER 22
Axel completed the tour with Rizika, and their last stop was the back garden that had an outdoor swimming pool. There were also tables and deckchairs around. She closed her eyes and inhaled the fresh breeze of nature. She felt less worried now that she knew where the artifact was. She'd worry later about some plan. But for now, she wanted to relax since she'd be returning soon to Albria.
Though she felt a bit of regret that she hadn't really explored Earth, she wasn't there for it. And she had no plans of coming back. Her system would be disrupted repeatedly. Even if she met the most handsome man there, no, she'd never want to see him again. He made her feel vulnerable and traumatized from what he did. He was more of a monster than the beasts she'd slain in her realm.
"You can roam around the mansion but never to the places I told you. Especially Vex's room."
