CHAPTER 26
The night atmosphere was cold. It made her shiver along with the sheen of sweat that was crawling at her spine. Her tummy was exposed, and she couldn't care less about it. There was nothing to be ashamed of, as she had a perfect body. And she sometimes got her armor sliced during fights that it wasn't a concern for her anymore. Only her knights would make a fuss about it, so she had to cover them as soon as possible because they were also men. She would snort at that.
She shook her head. She had to focus. She'd be back to normal soon. After this night.
In one last inhale of breath, she pushed her feet towards the door and stood before it. She halted. There was that sickening feeling again that something was wrong. So awfully wrong. But she pushed it open.
