Tanin couldn't help but smile at Leila's frantic concern. "Leila, breathe," she said, placing a hand over her friend's. "I'm fine now."
Leila pouted and crossed her arms. "Fine? You fainted inside the bathroom, Tanin! Do you have any idea how dangerous that is? You could have hit your head, you could have—"
"I know, I know," Tanin cut in, gently squeezing Leila's hand. "But I'm the High Luna, remember? I have responsibilities."
Leila scoffed, rolling her eyes. "And I'm the High Luna's friend and assistant, which means I have the right to scold the High Luna when she doesn't take care of herself."
Tanin laughed softly, shaking her head. "Fair enough."
