Increasing his power to 10%, Daimon followed up his punch with a powerful knee strike to Kaelor's stomach, sending the self-proclaimed emperor staggering backward. Kaelor gritted his teeth, his armor absorbing much of the impact but failing to negate the sheer force behind Daimon's attack. He barely had time to recover before Daimon pressed him again.
Kaelor raised his hand, activating the Rakata artifacts embedded in his armor. Daimon, however, remained unfazed. With a simple gesture, he redirected the energy from the artifacts, making them seem usless before continuing his assault.
"Is this the extent of your power?" Daimon taunted. "Artifacts can only take you so far, Kaelor. True power comes from within."
Kaelor roared in frustration, trying to activate his Artifacts once again. He launched himself forward, his speed augmented by the artifacts. He swung his blade in a sweeping arc, aiming to cleave Daimon in two. But Daimon anticipated the attack, sidestepping effortlessly and countering with a devastating elbow strike to Kaelor's side, cracking his armor.
The battle raged on, each strike shaking the throne room. Outside, the battle for Veldari continued as Daimon's forces pushed deeper into the cities, breaking down Kaelor's corrupted legions. The Tho Yor ships continued to spread Daimon's power across the planet, further suppressing the influence of the dark artifacts, weakening Kaelor's grip over his enslaved people.
Kaelor's desperation became evident as he activated his final failsafe, a surge of unstable Rakata energy designed to consume everything in its vicinity. The artifacts on his armor began to glow, veins of dark energy spreading across his body. His form swelled with raw, uncontrollable power.
"You will not take my empire from me!" Kaelor yelled as the ground beneath him cracked, and a vortex of darkness began to form around him.
Daimon narrowed his eyes. He had seen this kind of reckless desperation before. If Kaelor was allowed to complete this suicidal act, he could potentially destroy the entire palace, including everyone in it.
Not wanting the lives of his men to be lost unnecessarily, Daimon ripped the armor off of Kaelor's body and suppressed the energy that was being emitted from the Artifacts. Then using his free hand, he sent a Force wave which sent Kaelor pummeling into the nearby wall.
After deactivating the artifacts and tossing them to the side, Daimon pulled Kaelor out of the wall and into his hand. Kaelor tried to resist and fight back, but his body felt weak for some reason. "I was… meant to rule…" he muttered.
"You were never meant to rule. And even if you were, you had the unfortunate luck of standing in my way, so your life was always going to end, one way or another." Daimon replied, placing his hand over Kaelor's face.
With his hand on Kaelor's face, he started to completely absorb his life force. Kaelor's body began to wither and age rapidly, his skin turning from purple to grey as life was drained from him. His eyes were filled with terror as he gazed at Daimon's eyes, which were devoid of any emotion for the tyrant.
The once-proud ruler's body shriveled until it was nothing more than a pale husk. Daimon released his grip, letting Kaelor's lifeless form collapse onto the floor, a hollow shell of the despot he once was.
With Kaelor defeated and his life force absorbed, Daimon turned to face his warriors who had already finished their fight and had turned to watch him.
As soon as Daimon's eyes looked over them, they each got on one knee, bowing their heads out of the respect for their leader. Daimon motioned for them to stand up as he may have won this battle, but there was still a war to win.
Speaking into his commlink, he alerted all the forces of the false emperor's defeat and ordered his men to clear the remaining enemy forces within the palace. Outside the palace, Fighters and bombers from the ships in the atmosphere had luanched coordinated strikes on targets marked by ground forces.
While his men cleared the palace, Daimon jumped through the hole that he made and onto the roof, watching the chaos unfold throughout the city. One by one, Kaelor's remaining loyalists were falling to his forces.
From his vantage point on palace roof, Daimon could see the full extent of the battle. Fires raged in pockets throughout the city, with smoke darkening the sky.
Daimon could hear the distant sound of blaster fire and shouts coming from the city as the people were either getting killed or arrested. As he was watching over the battle, one of the Guardians had jumped on top of the roof to report what they had found, "Sir, we have captured a few people who have been identified as the rest of Kaelor's top Commanders."
"Take me to them," Daimon replied as he followed the Guardian back down into the palace.

At one of the Tho Yor bases located on 4th Continent which has been dubbed, Khaelos, by Daimon, Progenitor Orin Volkar was on the ground commanding his legion known as the Architect Legion. All around their base, they were surrounded by hundreds of thousands of enemies, while under him, he only had 1,000 members of his Architect Legion and a hundred thousand regular soldiers combined with all sorts of ground vehicles and air vehicles.
But no matter how many enemies there were, his mission was to hold this base until the war was over. "Sir, we're being overwhelmed at point Alpha, requesting reinforcements!" came a voice over the commlink.
"Redirect Delta and Echo squads to Alpha's position," Orin ordered. "Epsilon, prepare to provide heavy covering fire." He continued to direct his forces strategically, exploiting any weaknesses he found in the enemy lines. But once the fighting got intense, he personally joined the frontlines, ordering the local officers to take charge of their respective area.
In the skies above, the Nova class-Destroyers and Radian class-Cruisers were firing their turbolasers at enemy targets. Thanks to the Raptor fighters, they had complete control over the skies, allowing them to bomb the enemies as much as they wanted.
However, because their enemy were the Gen'Dai, simply bombing them was not enough. The only way to completely kill a Gen'Dai was too severe their head from their body. That was the standard way to kill a Gen'Dai while other ways including powerful weapons such as the dual energy swords that Raelos Vyn wielded, or by absorbing their life Force.
But due to the rareness and complexity of such abilities, the standard way to kill a Gen'Dai by severing their head was taught to everybody. Another factor which gave them an advantage was Daimon's Force energy, which weakened the enemy and prevented them from regrowing limbs or reattaching them once they got cut off.
Daimon's own subordinates were boosted with all of the above, making it even harder to kill them.
Severing the head from one of the Gen'Dai, Orin then turned to his next victims and sent a Force wave hurtling towards them, sending all of them flying into their own allies. Taking advantage of the now out of place enemy soldiers, Orin began to carve a path through the enemy Army, hoping to find whoever was leading them.
Following behind him were a mix of his own Legion and dozens of regular soldiers who began to fill the space he cleared, pushing the frontline further out.
Seeing things not going well as for them, even with their greater numbers, the enemy commander had rushed to the frontlines. As he arrived, he saw some large, armored titan hacking at his soldiers and using what he knew was the Force to eliminate them.
Gen'Dai have never been able to use the Force, so he was wondering how this Gen'Dai was not only using it but was very proficient with their abilities. However, he had no time to observe how great the enemy were, so he charged in followed by his own personal guards.
When Orin saw another group of Gen'Dai charging at him, he immediately saw the commander of the enemy forces and focused his attention on them. To this, he first slammed his fist into the ground, sending out a wave of Chain lightning which is a variation of Force lightning in all directions.
The Chain lightning hit everybody within a 20-meter radius, ignoring any allies who were within that radius. Most had become charred, while some even had their flesh melted by the power and intensity of the lightning, but everybody had either fell unconscious or died.
Seeing what Orin just did, the enemy commander halted his advance and turned around to run away. He didn't even give it a second thought; no way was he about to fight a monster like that. He was clearly outmatched, and he had no plans to fight.
Orin didn't care what the commander did as he was the leader of the enemy forces. Moving at an insane speed, Orin caught up to the commander and grabbed him by the back of his head, slamming it into the ground. "Where do you think you're going?" Orin questioned as he started to repeatedly slam the commanders head into the ground.
After about 20-30 times, he took his lightsaber and separated the commander's head from his body. Before the war started, each Progenitor was given the order to kill all high-ranking officers no matter if they pleaded for their life. These people wouldn't be a part of the future that Daimon was going to build.
With the commander dead, the surrounding Gen'Dai, who saw everything, began to run away. And when a dozen soldiers started to run away, so did the rest. It was like a chain reaction that spread like wildfire across the ranks.
With the enemy in retreat, Orin ordered his men to rest and reform the frontlines in preparation for another attack, if it did happen.
