Chapter 4 - Chapter 5: The Path of Power

"Good morning, Uncle Jack. Good morning, Father," Yuto and Jenny greeted in unison as they entered the room, nodding respectfully.

"Morning," Uncle Jack replied, his eyes narrowing curiously at them. "So, what do you prefer? Breakfast first, or straight to the meeting?"

Yuto paused, exchanging a quick glance with Jenny before speaking. "Let's eat first. I'm starving—I didn't have dinner last night, and Jenny skipped it too. That's on me," he admitted, scratching the back of his neck.

Jack shrugged. "Alright then, breakfast it is."

With a wave of Jack's hand, maids filled the table with a feast—an array of traditional and exotic dishes, from fluffy rice to rare delicacies. Yuto and Jenny dug in, their appetite far greater than usual, which didn't go unnoticed by Jack.

"You two didn't... do anything you shouldn't be doing at your age, did you?" Jack asked cautiously, a hint of suspicion in his voice.

Yuto, caught off guard, choked on his food. "What? No, Uncle Jack! It's nothing like that," he quickly denied. "I've learned a new technique that allows me to link my soul to my wives. It strengthens both of us, increasing our training efficiency."

Jenny's face turned scarlet as she recalled the intimate moments from earlier, while Jack blinked, his mind reeling from Yuto's casual mention of wives. Did Yuto just... casually mention multiple wives? Jack shook his head, deciding not to press the issue further. "Well, as long as you're handling it responsibly."

After the hearty meal, they moved on to the day's business.

"Uncle Jack," Yuto began, his tone serious, "what's our current relationship with the Fire Daimyo?"

Jack's face grew somber. "Neutral. We're business partners, and they have some share in our weapons trade. Nothing too close, but nothing hostile either. Why do you ask?"

Without a word, Yuto summoned a file from the air, his movements fluid and deliberate. "Take a look at this. Jenny, you'll need to go through it as well."

Jack took the file, flipping through its pages, his brow furrowing as he read. When he finished, he looked up, clearly impressed yet cautious. "This... is quite ambitious, Yuto. We can try, but there's a high chance of rejection."

Yuto smirked. "Don't worry, Uncle Jack. He won't reject it. He can't." His eyes glinted with confidence, but there was something more—a certainty that unsettled Jack.

Once the meeting wrapped up, Jack left to meet with the Daimyo. Jenny lingered behind, curiosity overtaking her. "Yuto... why are you pushing so hard for this?"

Yuto met her gaze without hesitation, his voice firm and resolute. "Because, Jenny, I plan to control the world. And... marry many wives."

Jenny's face flushed once again, but there was a glimmer of determination in her eyes as she crossed her arms. "Well, I'll be the main wife," she declared with a huff.

Yuto smiled warmly. "Of course."

As Jack made his way to the Daimyo's estate, Yuto activated his spiritualization technique, allowing a soul clone to slip away from his body, silently following Jack. Its mission: to use Soulbound on the Daimyo and his ministers, ensuring their loyalty.

Jenny's eyes widened in surprise as she noticed the ethereal form drifting after Jack. "What... was that?"

Yuto looked at her, then realized what she had seen. "That's part of my soul. I'm making sure the Daimyo cooperates—whether he wants to or not."

Jenny nodded, her unease dissipating. "I see. That makes sense." She didn't seem to care about the method, only the result.

Yuto turned inward, directing his thoughts to Gaia. "Gaia, why could Jenny see my soul clone? Can others see it too?"

[Ding

Jenny can see your soul because she's connected to you. However, others with high sensory abilities, especially at a kage level, can detect it if you're using killing intent or watching them closely. It apply for all super kage-level experts, .]

"And if I control the Daimyo, does that control extend to his descendants?" Yuto asked, already anticipating the answer.

[Ding

Yes. Once bound, the Daimyo's descendants will also be loyal to you.]

Satisfied, Yuto and Jenny resumed training. He guided her through chakra control exercises, instructing her to focus on tree-climbing techniques, while he practiced refining his own powers.

Meanwhile, Yuto's soul clone reached the Daimyo's mansion. Without hesitation, it used Soulbound on the Daimyo, his ministers, and their guards, binding them to Yuto's will. It cost him 70,000 soul coins, but the investment was worth it. Now fully under Yuto's control, the Daimyo was compelled to follow his every command. He even planned to convene a meeting of the five Daimyos to discuss Yuto's proposal.

"Yes, my lord," the Daimyo said obediently. "I will maintain a normal demeanor in front of others."

Soon after, Jack entered the Daimyo's hall, bowing respectfully. "Daimyo-sama, here's a proposal from our company. I hope you'll consider it."

The Daimyo scanned the document, impressed by its brilliance but careful not to show his true thoughts. After a measured pause, he nodded. "I'll call a meeting of the five Daimyos and propose this project to them. They will review it and decide on how to allocate shares for each country."

Jack blinked in surprise, his expectations completely overturned. He had assumed the proposal would start in the Fire Country and gradually expand, but the Daimyo's enthusiasm was far beyond what he had anticipated. Bowing deeply, Jack left the meeting, overjoyed by the unexpected support.

Upon returning, Jack eagerly relayed the good news to Yuto, who remained calm and composed, as if he had already known the outcome. "When's the meeting?" Yuto asked.

Jack thought for a moment. "It'll take 30 to 40 days to gather everyone and prepare for the meeting."

Yuto nodded, already planning his next moves.

Meanwhile, in Yuto's parallel dimension, the two other Yuto bodies—Military Yuto and Gene Yuto—had located a juvenile Ten Tails. They remembered from the Naruto series that maturing the beast required the sacrifice of an Otsutsuki. Military Yuto had preserved Isshiki's body, while Gene Yuto had gathered samples of his blood and flesh. Gene Yuto noted that Isshiki's body was not entirely his own—it was an occupied vessel. As a result, Isshiki's current form was only about 60% Otsutsuki.

Just as they were about to proceed with the sacrifice, Gaia's voice interrupted.

[Ding

You cannot mature the Ten Tails with this body.]

Yuto's eyes narrowed. "Then what should we do?"

[Ding

You need 100million soul coins to mature the Ten Tails. Currently, you possess 1,00,500.]

Yuto exhaled calmly, always one to adapt to the situation. "Then we'll gather the soul coins gradually. The Ten Tails can wait."

They left the dormant creature untouched for now and shifted focus to their next objective, already strategizing how to obtain the immense power they sought.
