Natsu was panting as he was riding a gigantic dog that was pretty hairy. He was on its head close to its ears so that he would be able to see where he's going.
"Faster, I don't have much time and I'm running out of meat"
"I'm so happy I found this beast after I killed that huge fish and sliced it into little pieces"
"I wanted to use the fish as trail not to get lost, or go around in circles, and also to attract a beast I could ride on. But lucky for me, I found this one drinking water from the stream, and led it to the place I kept little remains, as I then got unto it since it was distracted"
"Since then, I've been throwing meats in front of it for it to go where I want"
"But how do I make it go faster, I really wish I was riding a bird, it would have made it more easier to navigate through this forest" Natsu thought as the beast was running through the forest.
As Natsu was moving, he saw a large eagle fly pass him as it made a loud noise while passing them.
"This might just be my chance"
"Yeah, I'll follow it and make sure I ride on it, so that I'll be able to navigate through this forest" Natsu thought.
Natsu followed the eagle as he threw meat in the direction of the eagle, so that the dog would follow.
Natsu got to a place where the eagle stopped and landed on a tree.
Natsu threw meat for the beast and jumped of using his rope.
He began climbing the tree beside the one the eagle was on and hoped the eagle won't see him.
Natsu arrived at the top of the tree and saw the eagle building a nest.
"It's distracted" Natsu said as he thought "It's now or never" while taking a deep breath and swung to the tree the eagle was on.
The beast looked around trying to see where the noise came from.
"Here it goes" Natsu said as he threw some sticks down and jumped on the eagle.
The eagle flew out of there and looked at the area.
"I got on" Natsu thought as the beast was flapping its wings.
"But how do I get it's attention right now, and make it go where I want" Natsu thought as the eagle took off to the clouds.
Natsu was on its neck as he held on tight to its feathers and looked down, trying to get a good look of the forest.
The bird feathers was blocking him as usual since it was way too big.
"It's hard to see the forest when it's feathers are blocking me"
"I wish this beast was a little bit smaller, maybe it would have been more easier to see the forest"
"Ahhhhh!!! I didn't want to do this but I'm running out of time" Natsu thought as he closed his eyes and let go of the eagle.
Natsu rolled off the eagle since it was no longer going upwards.
Natsu could see a large portion of the forest as he could see the way the streams were moving.
He looked around and saw only trees as he tried to calculate how he would get to the exit.
"With the way the stream is flowing, I guess it was really made to go round the forest"
"Although, I wonder, was it also made to go to the Research Facility"
"Now that I think of it, I saw a very big fish back there, does that mean that the examination is on a different island"
"Come to think of it, almost all the trees looks the same here"
"Wait! Is this why they made all the trees look different in the first place"
"But this can only mean that I landed on a different island from where we're meant to take the exam"
"I can't believe this, so I'm on the wrong Island"
"So how do I get to the examination island, and how would I know if it is the right one?"
"Hmmm, when I started the exams, I saw different trees and I'm sure there were also different kinds of beasts there"
"Plus, I didn't go that far before I saw the cave that beast was"
"Which can only mean one thing, I flew way too far from the examination centre"
"In other words if I want to get to the examination centre, I would have to go through the stream, so that the current would be able to take me to the island where we are meant to take the exam" Natsu thought.
Natsu took a deep breath as he was falling and threw his blade towards a tree, which was very far from him.
The rope flew really far down as he shouted "Stretch"
As the blade stabbed the tree, Natsu took a deep breath and said "Please don't pull out and Take Me towards the tree, ROS!!!"
A gold light was emitted from the rope as he flew towards the tree.
"Wait, it didn't pull out! But the rope didn't wrap the tree branch well"
"Does that mean that I just unlocked another skill in the rope"
"Now that I think of it, the golden mark showed on it, and it was the same thing that happened when I reprogrammed it, before I entered into the swamp"
"But what did I say that made it do this?" Natsu thought as he swung through the forest.
"Let's recall, I said 'Please don't pull out and Take Me towards the tree, ROS!!!'"
"Hmmmm, is it Take Me that made it do that"
"I'm not sure but I guess it's better I shorten it"
"Okay rope, instead of saying 'don't pull out and Take Me', I would just say TM, got it" Natsu said and immediately, the rope shined golden as Natsu was suspended on the air without hanging on to anything.
He then threw the rope towards a tree branch and shouted "TM ROS!"
This made the rope to pull him towards the branch even though it wasn't well tied up.
"Let's check if it can work on mid air" Natsu thought.
He threw the rope towards the air and said the magic word and to his greatest surprise, it pulled him towards the space the blade was.
"This is incredible, I can do anything with this rope" Natsu said as he screamed with joy.
He flew through the trees and entered into the stream.
The current was really strong but Natsu just tried to float so that he would be able to breathe.
As the current was carrying Natsu, he went pass an island as he took a deep breath in and threw his rope towards the clouds and shouted "TM ROS!"
Natsu continued doing it and got really high in the air, and noticed that he was still far from the edge, so he threw the rope towards the stream and entered into it, as he continued moving.
Natsu passed another island and did the same, this time he noticed that he could only see the sea.
"It's better I check this island first cause I don't think would fly extremely far. Besides, now that I think of it, I'm way too small to see the end of the waterfall unless I get really close" Natsu said as he swung on the air going towards the island.
Natsu swung really high in the air and noticed that the forest had different areas that didn't look the same.
He continued going very high until he could see the Examination Building.
He was so happy when he saw it and immediately began heading towards it.
As Natsu was heading towards it he saw something that was really shiny on the ground.
"I know it's a trap but it's better I get something from this island, since the rest things I caught isn't part of the Exams"
"Yeah, it's better they don't find out I was lost. Who knows what they would think or do to me" Natsu said as he went back to the stream and opened his bag as he shouted "Release" which made all the things he caught to fall off into the water.
Natsu caught the gems he picked up when he started the exam and headed towards the shiny thing.
"It's better I keep my distance, since I don't know what's there" Natsu said as he landed in the forest close to the light.
He walked down and noticed a big hole in the ground as he heard a scream from the cave.
Natsu measured the rope and tied it around his waist, as he then untied his blades and wrapped one side of the rope around a tree not so far from the hole, as he used his hands signs to make it stretch and walked to the other side of the hole.
Once he got to the other side, he tied the other end of the rope to a tree.
The rope hovered around the hole as Natsu used his hand signs to make the rope to return slowly to it's original size.
Once Natsu got above the hole, he took a deep breath and entered into the hole saying "Here we go, Elongate!"
Natsu saw webs in the depth of the hole as the place started getting dark.
"I guess I'm fighting a spider since there are webs all over the place"
"The only problem is how I'm going to see inside this hole since the light is fading"
Natsu said as he held both of his blades really tight while going inside slowly.
He began hearing creepy noises as he thought "I believe that I'm in a spider nest, which implies that there are several spiders here"
"I should be really careful"
"Come to think of it, I thought I saw a shiny thing coming from this hole, so why is here so dark"
Natsu didn't know when he passed a spider as it's red eyes glowed behind him.
Natsu heard strange noises coming from different places in the hole.
"From the noises I'm hearing, I believe that there are lots of spiders in here, maybe thousands of them"
Sigh
"I guess I should just give up and go to the Hunters exam, because there's no way I would win in a fight against an army of siders on my own" Natsu thought.
Natsu landed on a very thick and sticky web as he was slowly going down.
"What's this, I can't move my legs" Natsu thought as he tried to move after feeling like he stepped on the ground.
"Don't tell me I'm stuck in a spider web"
"So how do I get out now" Natsu thought as he continued struggling to pull his legs off the sticky web.
As Natsu was thinking, a spider came close to him as it watched him try to escape from the webs.
