Natsu flew upwards towards his right side as he swung towards his left using his abbreviated commands.
Natsu slashed them as he also used the webs attached to him to tie them up.
Natsu smiled as he successfully wrapped them and pointed his blades upwards shouting "ULTIMATE ROS!" as he flew upwards and passed through them.
Natsu shot himself like a bullet over and over again, so that he would be able to kill the other spiders.
The spider had lots of holes in their body as Natsu successfully killed them and flew really high into the air while loosing his bag, as he brought it to his front and opened it.
"Ultimate ROS, Absorb!" Natsu said as he then went back down, since his rope was under a web when he went up.
The bag absorbed the spiders as Natsu continued moving downwards.
"S" Natsu said as he started using the webs to move around the hole really fast.
"I have to hurry before they stop whatever is making this place bright" Natsu thought as he moved around using the spider webs to head downwards.
Natsu heard a scream as he was going down and thought "I need to move faster, but how?"
Natsu immediately got an idea as he stepped on a web and flew upwards holding another web really tight and said "ROS" which made the web to stretch more as he then said "S"
Natsu flew really fast and continued moving.
"More! More! I need to go more faster! If only there was a way to avoid some of the webs or move without going up and down"
"Wait that's it!" Natsu said as he looked forward and saw that the webs had lots of spacings.
"If I can launch myself in a way that I won't hit any of the webs and reach the bottom, I would be able to get to the light really fast" Natsu thought as he calculated the best way to do that, and went towards a web and stepped on it making it to go inside, shooting him upwards.
Natsu flew up and stepped on a web as he positioned himself in a way he would reach the ground without hitting any webs.
Natsu was lucky because he was close to the middle of the hole and also his projectile was straight down.
"ROS! S" Natsu said as he stepped on the web and launched himself.
Natsu went really fast towards the ground moving as if he was a bullet, and as he got close to the ground he shouted "H" while rotating his body so that he would land with his legs and not his head.
'Loud noise!'
Natsu screamed as he felt lots of pressure on his waist when he stopped, as the tree his rope was attached to almost snapped since the rope almost ripped it into two.
"S" Natsu said, as he landed on the ground full of spider webs.
The place Natsu landed was made out of strong sticky webs as it had lots of pillars and tunnels inside.
Natsu heard strange noises as he took a deep breath and thought "I need to know were the light is coming from" as he looked around and began heading towards it.
Natsu entered into a cave and after a while of walking, he saw a very bright light coming from a large cocoon that was attached to a large spider net made out of webs.
The webs was constructed amazingly as Natsu saw lots of cocoons made out of webs in different places and sizes on it.
"There, that's were the light is coming from" Natsu thought as he saw a cocoon shining really bright.
Natsu tried running towards it but suddenly he heard a strange sound as spiders started falling down like rain surrounding him.
"Yep, if I survive this exam, I really need to have a large feast for myself, even though I'm in debt" Natsu said in frustration.
"But how do I survive this? Even if I use ROS right now, I won't still be able to escape, since they would try to stop me"
"And even if I try to fight back, I won't win since I don't have powers, and the worst part is that I can't even move freely in here"
"Unlike the entrance of the hole, here doesn't have any elastic web since all of them are solid as the ground"
"And let's say I want to use ROS to escape, the spider won't just let me leave like that"
"They could shoot webs towards me which would stop me or even worse, they could jump and attack me which would also kill me instantly, since they'd rip me apart"
"I don't see how I can escape at all, so what do I do and how should I fight this monsters?" Natsu thought.
Meanwhile, few minutes before Natsu got surrounded by the spiders, a girl was running through the forest as she then saw a very large hole ahead of her.
When she got to the hole, she saw a bright light coming out of it as she thought "What's that light, is someone here?"
"Does that mean that something valuable is inside"
"Wait, now that I think of it, what's a rope doing here?"
"It's attached to that tree and entering into the hole, but they are two of it, one on this side and the other on the other side"
"This can only mean that two contestants entered into this place trying to get something really valuable"
"But I don't blame them, I'm also curious to know what is down there"
"The only problem is that this hole is really deep and they're lots of web down there, which means, they're spiders inside this hole"
"And let's not forget the fact that it would be really sticky and hard to move around"
Sigh
"I should just head toward the entrance of this exam, besides, I have captured lots of beast and little valuable items"
"At least with this alone I should be able to pass the exams" the girl thought.
While the girl was looking inside the hole thinking, ants came out of the forest and surrounded the hole.
The ants wasn't that big as it was almost the same size of the spiders but a little bit smaller.
"Yep, its better for me to move out of here, that's the safest bet" the girl said as she raised her head up to look at which direction to head out.
"I'm surrounded! Don't tell me it was a trap from the beginning, what should I do now?" the girl thought.
The ants headed towards her really fast as she then shouted "Water spear"
A blue magic seal appeared in front of her hands as it started shooting out spears made out of water.
The spears hit the creatures, but it didn't affect most of them. Some fell down but the other ants just climbed them and continued heading forward.
"The attack isn't working and they aren't slowing down"
"They are too much, I have to get away from here if not I'm dead" the girl thought as she stepped back a little.
"Wait there's a large hole behind me, although they're lots of uncertainties, I would have higher chances of survival if I jumped inside"
"Well it's either I jump inside or die" the girl thought as she took a deep breath and went forward a little as she turned back and ran, jumping into the hole. She jumped inside as if she was jumping into a swimming pool.
"Sea Serpent, Destructive Blast!" the girl said as she stretched out her hand while using her other hand to support it, as a magic seal appeared in front of it and brought out a large serpent that shot out a large beam of water from its mouth, that hit the rock, which pushed her far away from it.
The ants went into the hole as they crawled on the wall heading towards the bottom.
"That was close" the girl thought while breathing out in relief and she continued, "My main focus should be how I would be able to pass those webs"
"Sea Serpent Death Roll!!!" She screamed as a large angry serpent made out of water came out from here seal and began tearing the webs.
She was standing straight while placing one of her legs on the other and held her other hand, as she faced it towards the direction of her legs and released the seal.
The serpent rotated as it bit the webs, destroying it as the webs either pulled out of the wall or split into two.
"Damn it, only me can't win in a fight against all these beasts"
"Come on, anyone" Natsu thought as he shouted with all his strength "Help!!!!!"
"Booommmm!!!!!" The place made as the serpent hit the ground which made dust to cover the whole place.
This made the spiders stop heading towards Natsu as all eyes went towards the direction the noise came from.
"What was that?" Natsu thought.
Natsu began hearing strange noise as he thought, "Something is coming"
The spiders made strange noises as they began running away from the entrance of the cave.
Natsu followed them and ran since he didn't know if they were attacking him.
As Natsu turned back and started running, he noticed that the spiders that were formally behind him were running away from him.
"Something is coming, and if it can make this amount of beast to run away, it just proves that it's extremely powerful"
"I just pray it's a human instead of a beast, because if it's not, I'm toast" Natsu thought as he was running.
Natsu realized that he couldn't run as fast as the beasts, so he tried dodging their legs to avoid being stepped on.
"This isn't what I thought would happen" Natsu thought as he tried to dodge their legs.
"Wait that's it, I can escape from this place since the beasts are distracted" Natsu thought forgetting the fact that they were running away from something and shouted "ROS" which made him fly out of the place as the rope pulled him upwards.
As Natsu was flying he turned back only to see a large swirl of water heading towards him.
"Come on, what now!" Natsu thought as he saw it.
"If I hold my breath, I should be able to go to the surface easily, but that also means, I won't be able to come back here again, since it would be hard to move around"
"Ahhhhh!!! Screw this, S" Natsu said as he was flying backwards and stepped on the top wall of the cave, and jumped towards a spider.
Natsu successfully landed on a spider as he held it really tight, but the spiders continued moving since it's trying to escape from the water.
As the spider were moving, Natsu tried standing, as he then began jumping from one spider to another, while trying not to fall off.
Natsu finally got close to the net he saw as he jumped off, running towards it to climb, trying to reach the light.
As Natsu was heading towards it, he noticed the brightness of the light reducing and thought.
"No no no no no! This can't be happening, you can't stop glowing. If you do, who knows what would happen?"
"It's already hard to fight these beasts with light, talk less of be-in in the dark" Natsu thought as he was heading towards the bright cocoon.
The cocoon was above Natsu but the reason it was hard to get to was because, the spider net was really wide and big, which means that Natsu would have to climb really high, since the cocoon was really far from him.
As Natsu was climbing the spider net, he held it really tight since he didn't know when the water would come.
The water moved really rough and passed Natsu with intense pressure.
Natsu held the webs really tight but the water was way too strong and broke it, making him and the cocoon loose as they followed the waters flow and flew in a different direction from the spiders.
