Alaina's POV
"I will be right there." I told the director over the phone. My voice was low and had no emotion as I packed my bags, ready to leave the villa.
The smell of the villa lingered in the clothes I had hastily shoved into my suitcase. It was a faint scent of jasmine and muffins. I hadn't realized how heavy my heart had become until I stood there, staring at the half-packed bag, barely able to bring myself to finish the task. The villa had been a sanctuary for me in a short period of time. It was a place where I laughed and giggled like a high school girl in love. It was a place where Michael and I made love and made plans on what to eat, where to go, and the places we love.
